From this charming getaway’s backyard, the beach is only a 2-minute, sand-under-toes stroll away along a short footpath. An ideal retreat for hosting a multi-family or multi-generational vacation, the newly built, spacious, 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom home-away-from-home comfortably sleeps 12 adults and 2 children, and is dog-friendly. Among our favorite features that make this property welcoming in every season are its hot tub, an outdoor shower to rinse off sandy feet and paws, and a s’mores-ready outdoor wood-burning fire pit.

In addition to 2 bedrooms, the main ground floor offers an open living space with a gas fireplace, a smart TV, and a well-equipped kitchen. On the second floor, you’ll find a game room with plenty of seating, board games, books, toys and puzzles, and a further 4 bedrooms, including a master suite with a gas fireplace and ensuite with a large jetted tub.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

We want you to feel at home. For families with young children, there is a diaper pail, baby bath, baby monitor as well as a Pack-n-Play stored in the master closet. There’s also a highchair, baby gates, a wagon to haul your stuff or kiddos to the beach, a cooler on wheels, beach toys, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs for the entire family (all stored in the garage).

This beach retreat is on a quiet, private, dead-end street with close beach access via a private sandy path in the backyard. Soothing ocean sights and sounds, along with fires in the backyard fire pit or on the beach, as well as nearby crabbing and fishing, make this the perfect location and house for your Oregon Coast vacation.

Temperatures at the coast rarely rise above the 70’s, but on rare warm days, you’ll need to manage the operable windows and doors, bedroom fans and window shades to your taste; let the cool night air in while you sleep, 60’s style. Our guests love the connection to nature on the Coast—we hope you and your furry friends will, too!

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Use the gas grill and outdoor furniture to dine al fresco.

In the evenings, gather around the cozy wood-burning fire pit, or take a dip in the hot tub.

Bring your boat for crabbing and fishing. Our garage is large enough to accommodate a medium sized boat.

** Note: Up to 2 well behaved and completely housebroken dogs are welcome. There is a $200 pet fee for the additional cleaning required after your departure. Sorry, no cats. Please do not leave your dog in the home unattended unless you bring a kennel. Thank you for understanding:)

**Parking: There is free parking for a maximum of 6 vehicles. This is strictly enforced. Please note, this is a private street so street parking is not allowed. You can park in the driveway and fit 1-2 vehicles in the garage.

**Security: For your safety and the security of the house when it is unoccupied, there are security cameras which monitor the driveway and the backyard. There are no cameras in the hot tub area or inside the house.

No shoes in the house, please. No parties or events. No gatherings of 14 people or more. We strictly enforce this.
We allow up to 2 well behaved and completely housebroken dogs. There is a $200 pet fee for the additional cleaning required after your departure.
Dogs are not allowed on furniture including beds, chairs and couches. We provide a dog bed with a clean cover for each stay.

What an absolutely gorgeous home. We had a group of 10 & the home was stocked with everything (& more!) to make our stay cozy and fun. So close to the beach and the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were amazing amenities. Will 100% be back.

Fabulous, clean, spacious, well-equipped, beautiful, and restful! We thoroughly enjoyed our three-generation family stay. With super close access to the beach, we visited it every day. We appreciated the little touches (like 'real' toilet paper!) that made our stay so comfortable. So much better than a hotel! We would definitely stay again.

Wish there was a ten star rating!

We are a family that has rented vacation homes, all over the world, including many on the Oregon coast. And, we are choosy, always commenting on the things we would change, or improve. We had no critiques for this house! We were all immediately obsessed with this home and the high quality of furnishings, quantity of things like towels and laundry detergent (yes, that matters!) as well as all of the kitchen and beach equipment, games, bathroom amenities. So many things made our stay lovely -- firepit, barbeque, sweet walk to the very secluded and soft sandy beach. We even commented on how the house doesn't smell musty like beach houses often do. And Rachael is the dream host. Can you tell we loved it? Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Stay!

We enjoyed this beautiful and clean home from the moment we arrived! The space and layout are perfect for larger families like ours. The details and amenities are perfect, including the sweet surprise s’mores package, the well stocked kitchen and baths. The location cannot be beat—privacy, steps from the beautiful beach, and the cutest, quiet street. We enjoyed the lovely fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor patio. Rachael is awesome to work with too! Highly recommend!

Loved the house & neighborhood! An easy direct short walk to beach! The house was very well stocked with basic paper and cleaning supplies. Plenty of towels and beach towels for the great hot tub! The backyard Kitchen was very well supplied with cooking, serving utensils and a wonderful pantry for storage and several small cooking appliances! We would love to rent this property again! Great home

We loved our stay here. The house is a great size and perfect for multiple families. It was probably the best stocked home I’ve ever stayed in. If you have younger kids they have practically everything you would need. It’s an easy walk to the beach. The owner was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. We would love to stay here again.

Best VRBO stay ever!!!

First; we felt that everything seemed bigger than it appears in the photos and second; everything is beautiful, so much space, it was perfect for our 9 adults and 4 kids and lastly, we have never experienced a more responsive and accommodating host, Rachael was wonderful. It was so great that two dogs could come with the family, we so appreciated that. All of the above made celebrating 3 birthdays (48/51/& 70) the most fun. Everything is well appointed; the kitchen, the bedrooms (the beds and linens were amazing) and the big upstairs game table with a closet full of games. Two of my favorite things was the large square dining table with 8 chairs, so many wonderful conversations were had, and the private path to the beach! Sorry to be going on, but this really is the best VRBO we've ever stayed at and we'll be back next year!

Great house very close to the beach

My kids and I stayed at this house this past weekend and had a wonderful trip. The house was spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed (including games, a well-appointed kitchen, and even a mud room with a big sink and a basket full of pet supplies). I stayed here with 2 of my kids, my parents, and my brother and his girlfriend and there was plenty of room for all of us. The backyard is great with a fenced-in hot tub and a private path to the beach. We would definitely stay here again if/when in Rockaway!

Well stocked, great communication with host

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is organized. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Easy access to beach. Fireplace didn’t work and the host worked hard to get someone to come during Christmas week to look at it. The handyman was unable to fix it so the host offered us a cleaning fee refund. This is an example of her going above and beyond.

Loved our stay!

The home was big and beautiful. We came to Rachael's house to celebrate my birthday with my whole family of 12 including four children, spouses, and grandchildren. The location was fantastic! The beach path is right out the backyard and was an easy stroll. The location is very safe and I felt comfortable walking alone to the beach with my grandkids. We often were the only ones on the beach. We built a fire in the fire pit at the house and two fires at the beach. My grandkids loved being altogether in the same house and woke up every morning ready to go to the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs, beach blankets, cooler, wagon, towels, sand toys, and kites. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. The hot tub was warm and clean. There were also two laundry rooms- one on the first floor and one on the second floor- which came in very handy. Rachael was very fast to respond and we felt well taken care of. We hope to return next year!

Amazing house and location!

The house is beautiful and well layed out for multiple families. We enjoyed all of what the house had to offer, outside and inside. The path from the house to the beach is perfect. Hot tub was lovely. Fire pit area was fun and we had an excellent place to set up corn hole by the house in the sand.

Our go-to beach getaway

This is the second time we've stayed in this gorgeous home. The house is amazing cozy for such a big place, and it is clean and quiet and very well-stocked. Rachael is a wonderful host and we were well cared for. Beach access is great... just a couple of minutes meandering down a sandy path. We love this house and will definitely be back.
