Jax concert weekend

Space was fabulous! Well appointed, comfortable, great community and close to just about anything to do. Host was accommodating and responded timely to questions. Love the automated keyless access. Definitely recommend.

Perfect getaway for TapC Sawgrass Golf Weekend

Apartment was the perfect spot to stay while we golfed at TPC Sawgrass. Community was quiet and walkable to restaurants and shopping. The space was large enough for everyone to have their space and full of amenities.

Great location

Great location for eating and entertainment! Unit is in the back of the complex and very quiet for being so close to Town Center. Plenty of room for three adults.

Property Management Excellent - Great Location

Very quiet, Property Management service excellent, location convenient to beach/town center, plenty of shopping/dining choices and much more positive things. I recommend this place if you are looking for a safe/quiet place that is convenient to everything you need.

Modern, spacious, and quiet apartment amid a lush park

Wonderful stay in a very modern, spacious, comfortable, and inviting home away from home for us in a calming park-like setting close to Jacksonville's best shopping area (St. John's Town Center), great restaurants, golfing (including TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra), the Mayo Clinic and business parks. The neighborhood seemed to be mostly young professionals, with many residents out walking, running, or walking dogs. Our hostess, Ciara, was very attentive and welcoming, ensuring everything was perfect; and sent multiple short messages to check on us during our stay. She responded immediately with great directions when I didn't know how to raise and lower the new blinds. Her thorough directions included driving directions to the apartment, the electronic door lock, and house rules/instructions before we arrived. The apartment was beautifully furnished with new furniture, paint, flooring, appliances, and decorations; and spotlessly clean. Its ground floor location would normally invite bugs in tropical Florida, but we didn't see a one! The kitchen was recently remodeled and exceptionally well equipped; the bathrooms have also been recently remodeled and everything is bright and modern. There are plenty of towels (& even beach towels), extra pillows, and throw blankets. The great room & master bedroom overlook a large park-like lush green space between the buildings in the complex. There is ample parking and a view of a lake from the parking area and front of the building.

Some surprises

The first 24 hours were very stressful. We arrived around 8 pm for check-in. I went to my VRBO messages and saw no check-in instructions as I have always had for past rentals. I was able to reach the property manager and she eventually helped me gain access to the property. We were confused as the lock looked like a standard non-electric deadbolt so we even drove around a few times thinking we had the wrong property. It wasn’t until the next day that I received the link to download an app that controlled the lock. This was not ideal as there was one day we were panicking to get back before my phone battery ran out. The floors were not washed well and the beds had long black hairs on them. We had to rewash all the sheets and comforters. When I shared this with the property manager she said this never happens and she told me I should have taken pictures. After a long travel day and 4 very tired kids under 11 that was the last thing on my mind. Next morning, daughter and I went for a walk and were shocked to see that the pool and luxury amenities that were listed on the rental description were closed renovations! After several attempts to reach the manager and calling VRBO directly, I started looking into moving our stay as this is why we chose the property. The manager did get back to me late in the morning sharing she was at church and that we had access to a sister properties amenities, 2 miles down the street. Not ideal. No compensation was offered for our trouble.

Nice but could use some improvements

Be sure to check everything when you arrive as sharing information the night before check out to the property manager is frowned upon. There was nothing that prohibited a good stay, just some cleaning improvements needed in the kitchen drawers and cabinets.

As advertised

Typical corporate housing. Nice, clean. Parking is a little difficult in the evenings, usually had to park several buildings away if I got back to the apartment after dark. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area, a movie theater too.
