Highland Lodge is situated on over 80 explorable acres and less than a mile from Torch Lake. The three bed/four bath log home sleeps eight and is well suited for groups or families. The lodge sits atop one of the highest points on the property and offers stunning views of Torch Lake as well as Grand Traverse Bay. We welcome adventure seekers, outdoors enthusiasts, nature lovers or those just looking to get away from it all.

The property boasts several trails that will have you wandering high and low. While not for the faint of heart, these trails offer a wonderful opportunity for guests to hike around the beautiful terrain.

Venturing around the property you’ll come across sand dunes, ponds, local wildlife and winding creeks. The small waterfalls and rambling waters of Carol’s Creek offer one of the most serene sounds nature has to offer.

Inside Highland Lodge you will find just about everything you need in a home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is stocked with all of your cooking needs. Each bedroom has a king bed (master has a king plus two rollaway beds) as well as its own full bathroom. The fourth bathroom has an attached laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer. On the covered porch, you’ll find a grill and patio furniture to enjoy dinner or drinks outside.

End the day around the fire roasting marshmallows and sharing stories while enjoying picturesque views as the sun sets over the lakes.

NEED MORE SPACE? This home also has an upstairs studio apartment available to rent for those who book the main home space. Adding the upstairs turns it into a 4 bed/5 bath home. The studio apartment has a queen bed, full bath with large shower and custom vanity, mini fridge/freezer, Keurig, TV with streaming stick, sunroom with a twin sized swing bed and lounging chairs and it grants access to the upper deck. If interested, ask for this add-on rental when you book.

*Highland Lodge is a sister property to “Boulder Ridge at Torch Lake Vista Resort” sitting only 1/2 mile apart and accessible by trail or road. Guests are welcome to rent both at the same time.

*Access to Torch Lake is less than a mile down a private drive where you can hand launch kayaks, canoes, SUPs and swim.

*Boaters-there is ample parking for boat trailers on the property and the boat launch is less than four miles away.
