This is a well-loved and spacious home right off the lake. The house was perfect for my husband and I, along with our two boys (8 & 3). The hosts were very helpful leading up to and during the stayWe had a great time exploring and enjoying the water just a short distance away. Our downtime was spent hanging out on the beautiful deck and watching movies in the large family room. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great family vacation spot in Heber!

House was clean and stocked well. Kitchen had a lot of counter space. We had six people and we had plenty of room. View was nice. Beds were comfortable. We would stay again at this property.

My family had a wonderful time staying at the property over the 4th of July holiday. The property owner communicated exceptionally well and the house had all the amenities. The access to the lake was easy and such a benefit for our stay.

The house was perfect.. so many extras! We spent a lot of our time on the balcony enjoying the view of the lake. The path to the lake was an easy walk. The location of the house was great.. secluded yet close to town.

Awesome large deck with lake view - our favorite spot. Difficult walk to lake for us over 70 but ok for younger travelers. Very comfortable home. Short distance to town and marinas and parks.

Accommodations were excellent. We really enjoyed the deck. For our purpose of playing golf locally we were well located. The yard was beautiful. Unfortunately the heavy rains on 2 of our days limited some of our activities, but other than that a pleasant stay.

Spectacular LaKe Estate

What an amazing property!! Located in the town of Heber Springs, yet directly on the lake. Walk out the back door to a fantastic swimming area. Only a five minute drive to boat launching access at Dam Site Park. Also very close to the Little Red River for those who seek trout fishing. Hiking trails are close by for those adventurers. Multiple restaurants within a 5-15 minute drive distance. Perfect place to vacation.

Absolutely loved the location. Very quiet, peaceful & relaxing. The view of the lake was perfect and the walk to the cliffs weren’t so bad. The host were amazing when needing to communicate and gave clear instructions on how to get in and things required when leaving the property. The home had lots of the necessities that would had been bought at almost any other rented locations. If I were to give one piece of advise it would be please change out the master bed or mattress set. Overall very happy with this stay.

Very peaceful

My partner and I were there for six weeks this summer. On the week-ends 1-5 family members would come from Memphis which was a real treat. The last week my high school girlfriends came. Fishing was enjoyed by some, great community center offering water acrobics, felt at home at the Senior Citizen Center, enjoyed trying the different restaurants and exploring areas outside of Heber Springs. All in all a very good experience.

Truly beautiful getaway!

This home is perfect for a family vacation! There is a wonderful covered back deck, large and nicely furnished, with a partial lakeview and plenty of trees and privacy. And the lake is just a short walk away! After following the path through the woods, you reach a rock point with a perfect family set up for swimming. One side of the point is a smooth rock bottom, shallow and clear; the other is a cliff suitable and safe for diving. The house is very nicely furnished, and the host has provided so many thoughtful amenities for guests... a FULLY stocked kitchen, Keurig and pods, toiletries, and life jackets in every size! The hostess was so helpful with questions and instructions. We had a wonderful time there, and I'm sure we'll be back!

Best rental experience and great location

We rent a lot through VRBO, and this was hands down the best stocked property we've ever rented. They had everything - and then some. The best features of this property are the location/view of the lake and the glass doors across the back of the house that allow you to be inside and outside (on the deck that runs the full length of the house) at the same time. There are 3 marinas that are 5-15 minutes away if you want to rent a boat, and the property has lake access that was perfect for our kayaks. We even managed to find a small cave to explore in the rock formation next to their little inlet. We loved everything about this property, and the hosts are absolutely amazing! They were easy to reach and made sure we had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back again.

Nice place

When arriving it was easy to find and the house was clean. The three bedrooms 2 baths served us well. We didn’t use the laundry room bathroom. There was plenty of vests for swimming but only one chair. We couldn’t find the path to the lake. We drive around to Sandy Beach. The kitchen was stocked okay. Looking for Tupperware or something to store food in. Plenty of coffee for the Kuerig but only 2 decaf and the machine was dirty. Lots of little travel size incidentals in the bathrooms in case you forgot anything. The living room was very comfy. We had a hard time getting the TV to work but John called with help and help with the TV . We had one Day with no WiFi. Katherine said John had changed it and she didn’t know. Problem was my daughter speaks with an iPad and no connection. Was rough for her the first day. The view was outstanding and the deck lovely but bring bug spray! Overall the house was good. Not much on the to-do list to check out. Would not likely stay again only due to no lake access.

2nd stay at a great place for enjoying the lake

This was my second trip to this property. The first time I went with family for a holiday. This time was a trip with girlfriends. The second time was just as magical. The location, views and amenities are all incredible. You are close to stores and restaurants, but it feels secluded and peaceful when you're there. The deck that runs across the entire back side of the house is the best feature. We had a hard time leaving those deck chairs overlooking the lake. The hosts are also truly excellent! Thanks again. I'll be back.

Beautiful View

We had an amazing time. The property was the perfect fit for our family. Our teenagers really enjoyed the point. Their favorite part was cliff jumping. They met some local teens and they had a blast. We spent a ton of time out at the point just floating in the water and listening to music. Some days we were the only people out there. The house was so well stocked and so clean. We grilled out and enjoyed the deck in the evening along with the beautiful view. We will rebook this house. We really had a great time. I recommend eating at the Red Apple Inn. They have a great menu and our meal was delicious. Owners are so nice and answered all of our questions.

Amazing stay!

I couldn't recommend this spot more! Nothing beats waking up every morning and taking a morning dive into the pristine waters of Greers Ferry Lake off the cliffs that are right in our backyard! We brought the boat and went tubing and explored the lake almost daily and it was the best time! The house is spacious, clean and comfortable and the host was gracious and communicative, answered all of our questions in a timely manner! Be sure to climb BOTH Sugar Loaf Mountains in the area, especially on the island on the north side of the Lake. Ten out of ten would recommend this house for future vacations!
