Welcome to our casita! The entire unit was remodeled to create an open and unique space for friends and family to enjoy Santa Fe.
Easy access to Ski Resort!
1 bedroom with quality bedding and linen. Open plan living area and full kitchen. Art from around the world and loads of great books to read. Off road parking.
Within walking distance of downtown Santa Fe.

• New Air Con mini splits
• Extremely safe area
• 18” Adobe walls and vaulted ceilings
• Washer/Dryer
• Heated floors

There are 3 steps up to the bedroom and the bed is Japanese style, low on the floor.
Also 1 small step into the bathroom. No handrails.
Just FYI in case you have trouble with such things. Not suitable for the mobility challenged and the infirm.

The space:
Pet friendly! Fully enclosed fenced yard. Also a short hop from the famous 135-acre, Frank Ortiz Dog Park.

Let us know what type/size of pet you are bringing, and add on the pet fee of $40 per stay for one pet.

You can walk to the Alto park for the river walk, which is great to run along.
Working from home? We have a work station for you.

Guest access:
You will have the whole house to yourself. You are also able to check yourself in using our lockbox. Total security and privacy!

TV is 50inch with a free TV channel. No cable. Netflix not provided, bring own account details.

Other things to note:

Not suitable for the mobility challenged. Internal steps and no grab bars.

Home is located on the on the historic El Camino Real, a trade route from Mexico to the San Juan Pueblo. Even though it only has 2-way traffic it can be bustling and noisy. Once you enter into the inner enclave of the walled yard and home you will be much less aware of any outside noise. 18 inch adobe walls! We can provide a white noise machine for the very sensitive.

For long term renters the unit will be cleaned every 2 weeks by our cleaners and paid directly by the guests. Its $90 for 2.5 hours.

Spacious,clean and well appointed place. Bed was very comfortable. Despite being on a busy street you couldn't hear too much traffic. Ras Rody a food truck across the street had really good vegetarian food.Tumbleroot brewery was a cool spot down the road.

Comfortable stay in Santa Fe at John's place! Perfect for 2 people and a pet. Clean and has all you need for cooking small meals, quieter than you would think being next to busy Agua Fria Rd. Close to Railyard and the Plaza. On a camping/mountain biking trip and had plenty of space to store gear and bikes on the enclosed patio. The check in from John was much appreciated!

Casita bonita

I stayed in this very comfortable and conveniently located casita for an artist’s retreat in Santa Fe. Interior was true to photos, I felt safe, had everything I needed to cook, do laundry, and chill out. Communicating with host was timely, friendly and professional—doesn’t get any better!

The house was spotless and so darn comfortable

The house itself, including available parking, was just what we hoped for. We stayed in a different neighborhood than usual, but still could walk to the railyard area where a couple breweries are as well as a Farmers Market, coffee house, pizza, and more. We discovered new neighborhoods we hadn't been to before, but I still made my way to Big Star Books, my favorite bookstore in SF. Our little enclosed courtyard was ideal for reading while in the sun. Communication with John was easy- he made himself available. We cooked in the house frequently, so he brought extra olive oil as soon as I was close to running out.The only negative was the street noise which was pretty consistent during the daytime. It never bothered our sleep though, since there was much less at night.

Quick Overnight Stay in Sante Fe

Good location for access to downtown. Park to walk dogs nearby. Drove there once and walked the second time. Cute little fenced outdoor sitting area. Super comfortable bed. I would go back.

Overnight in Santa Fe

Stayed here for an overnight in Santa Fe prior to flying back home. Place worked out great, close to good restaurants, nice little kitchen and owner was very helpful. Would stay again.

A great place to stay!

Bright and airy! This casita is cozy and relaxing. I used Uber and could quickly get to the plaza, museums, and railway yard. The host was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place, great location

This place was perfect for my wife and I and our two greyhounds. Amazing food truck right across the street was just an added bonus. Communication from owner was top notch, place was airy and clean. Will definitely stay here again

Wonderful Santa Fe getaway

This property was super close to downtown, not far from great restaurants. There were 2 parks I walked my dog to everyday. Very clean and comfortable.

Great spot central to everything in Santa Fe

This was a fantastic property near LOTS of trails & perfect for quick trips to great local eateries. I would highly recommend staying here to friends / family. Check in was a breeze & the accommodations were well appointed & perfectly clean.

Perfect getaway

We had the best time at this little casita. It had absolutely everything we needed and was super clean. The bed was so comfortable and the there was zero noise to speak of. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. John contacted us upon arrival and checked on us via text during our stay. Definitely recommend this place! Thank you John!
