The Oaks of Mobile Vanderbilt location has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms..We are nestled in a Beautiful mature West Mobile neighborhood. The home is adjacent to the University of South Alabama campus where you can enjoy concerts,sporting events,graduation ceremonies etc.....We are walking distance to the Mobile tennis center,Azalea City golfing and the Robert Trent Jones golf course.Great location to enjoy Mardi Gras festivities close to the action but not in the action.

Quiet and relaxing

Great area for those looking for quiet and peaceful. We need a place to lay our heads down, close to where we were working, and plenty of of places to eat. It's close to everything! Not far from Dolphin parkway, shopping, eating, and exploring.Thanks to the owner for a nice stay.

Mobile Spring Fling Music Festival

Danny was easy to speak with regarding any concerns we had. It was a funny smell in house and fruit flies the first morning when we woke up. Also, had a sink that backed up, but Danny took care of issue. We use an air freshener for smell and bug spray for flies.

Convenient house by USA

This house was conveniently located for our event. House was as advertised. Only issues were the master bath didn’t drain well and there was some trash left behind when we arrived . Lastly the beds weren’t very comfortable.. Did appreciate the ease of check in and out and prompt responses from the owner

Great stay, met our needs for Mardi Gras.

Everything was okay. Had a great time. Master bath shower did not drain well, other than that everything worked well.

Just needs a little attention to be better

The good - it’s a nice size place with lots of room, tv in each bedroom, large fenced in backyard if you are traveling with pets and/or kids. Very nice set up. Two living rooms and two seating areas. Nice large closets and dressers in the rooms. The washer and dryer is convenient. Good water pressure in the showers. Extra toiletries available if you’ve forgotten something. The temperature was comfortable. There was definitely enough room to support a large family. WiFi and cable worked perfectly. The bad - none of the bedrooms has bigger than a double bed, and the beds weren’t very comfortable so sleep wasn’t great. There weren’t enough towels to support 6-8 people even for a short few days stay. The master bath only had a 1/4 roll of toilet paper upon arrival and no extra in the closet. Only extra roll was in the other bathroom. Never located the hair dryer. The kitchen is seriously lacking in supplies when it comes to cookware/utensils. Nice large pots, but no real frying pans. Very little silverware. No strainer, can opener, cheese grater, etc. Only one extra garbage provided. The lack of supplies took away from the convenience of having a kitchen. The neutral- the place has a strong smell of cigarette smoke, despite a no smoking sign. Saw other reviews where the host had replied it was listed as a smoking property. The house does need some TLC. Some of the kitchen cabinets are missing doors, or screwed shut. Floors in the master bath is in need of repair.

Terrible,horrible, nightmare of an experience!

I will never rent from this owner again. I could write paragraphs about how terrible this stay was. The house is not clean inside and out. We found bullets, the end of smoked items, trash all under the beds, and leftover marijuana. I kept my shoes on at all times. My sisters feet were black just from walking around the house. Also if you have small children or pets I definitely not even consider renting. My poor dog had to be treated at a after hour vet’s office for marijuana toxicity. It was a terrible experience which the owner of the home did nothing about. I have pictures of proof.

Great location, but needs a little TLC

Great location to all types of food and shopping as well as the university. Needs a lot of work and the beds were not super comfortable. Was big and spacious with lots of room for all the family but did have a strong smell at first.

Save your money

Was disappointed with the property. Home was not ready. Host was not tracking my arrival even though I emailed, he failed to email me back or communicate. We did not stay at the property at all. Home smelled like mold and stagnant air, bathrooms had calcium deposits, TVs did not work with satellite or cable, kitchen seems to have water damage and is slightly caving in, home did not look professional sanitized/cleaned for the COVID pandemic. Host seemed understanding but has not replied to my request through Vbro for my refund. Hopefully we get a refund since we left shortly after arriving. Would not recommend in the current condition.

Nice Visit to Mobile

Loved the great room and spent most of our community time there. All bedrooms are spacious and 3 out of 4 have televisions. Nice to have 2 full bathrooms. The house itself is in a very nice location. However, the backyard needs some attention. Other than that, we very much enjoyed the property and were able to feel at home.
