Beautiful property

Enjoyed the quiet setting in the country, but still very close to everything. The unit was very well equipped and very nicely decorated. Faye and Don were excellent hosts.

The suite had all the little touches you would need, from robes to a great movie and game selection, Faye and Don thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We'd highly recommend this place and would come back next time we're in the area.

Delightful

Absolutely delightful stay! Faye thought of everything to make our stay perfect! So peaceful and quiet while just minutes from town. We enjoyed our own private area outside. Couldn’t be any better!!

Everything was clear, instructions before hand and in the suite. Banana bread was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we ever need accommodation in the Qualicum Beach area in the future.

Clean and friendly

The cottage style atmosphere was cute and the facility was absolutely spotless! Nothing was within walking distance but to drive to town took no more than 5 minutes. I would recommend this Vrbo to those who are fine not being on the water or in town.

Home away from home

Beautiful property, very inviting, comfortable and clean. Loved the welcoming banana bread and sparkling water. Thank you for a wonderful home base for our week of exploring!

Fantastic stay

A hidden gem off of the beaten path. The suite was absolutely spotless, amenities were all that we needed and the bed/pillows were so comfortable (a very nice end to travel days). The hosts were top notch and very very good at communicating, we will definitely be staying at this property again.

Lovely suite for a weekend getaway

My partner and I enjoyed a weekend stay at this lovely property and we were very happy with the communication, check-in, and property amenities/condition. We would highly recommend this suite for anyone wanting to explore along Highway 4 as it is a quick 5 minute drive to get going!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

A delightful charming country location close to the amenities of Qualicum Beach. We were impressed with the comfortable bed, family room with TV, library and the personal touches of coffee and yummy banana bread. We have already recommended Country Blue to several friends and will return in a heartbeat.

We so enjoyed staying at Country Blue. It was like staying at home away from home. The hosts thought of everything to make sure we felt comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again. The location was absolutely wonderful we were out in the country yet just less then a 5 minute drive to Qualicum Beach and central location to Cathedral Forest. Close to Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay. Thanks for having us. 5 stars plus

Loved our stay!

Such a lovely place with many special touches here and there! In addition to a portable BBQ on the patio, we found just about everything we needed in the kitchen - an electric burner and even a rice cooker! Very quiet and pastoral area but still only a few minutes' drive to the town. Would love to come back here again!!

Amazing little gem!

This amazing little gem of a place was perfect! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The little apartment had everything you could want in a rental. The serene Patio was the perfect place to start and end our day. I can’t rave about it enough!

Road trip

We stayed for 3 nights while we explored a bit of what the island has to offer. The house is clean and so homey. There were games, puzzles and a dart board that we tried out. And the banana bread was delicious 🤤

Peaceful, Relaxing Place to Stay

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days at Country Blue while we were in the Parksville area for a family event. The accommodation is located in a quiet area, but is still close to Qualicum Beach and its amenities. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and homey. Oh, and the banana bread the owner leaves as a welcome gift is delicious! We will definitely stay here again when we come to the Qualicum Beach area! Thank you, Faye and Ron, for sharing your lovely home with us.

Nice quiet place to stay

Clean & quiet. Hideabed is quite uncomfortable but worked fine for kids. Really nice couple that run the place. No kitchen or laundry, but that was made known in the advertisement. No surprises. Really nice place close to Qualicum.

Simply the best ❤️

We loved everything about Country Blue, it was spotless with lovely decor. So much thought and care has gone into this place to make it a great stay. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The special touches provided by Faye were both surprising and endearing. After a tiring journey we were delighted to find cream and sparkling water in the fridge and also a loaf of delicious banana bread waiting for us. Sewing Get Away

Two life long friends getting together to sew. Great space. We brought our own folding sewing tables. Lots of electrical outlets, great lighting and space. Very well equipped. Perfect for two. One of us had the bedroom, the other slept on the sofa bed.

Wonderful Country Blue

We had a 4-night stay at Country Blue suite. Convenient location, good suite size, well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, and much more. The suite was spotless clean, fresh and welcoming, it is also very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the barbecue and outside area. Kids liked this place so much😊 ! There's a complete serenity in the area, lots of fresh air, and wonderful garden. Faye and Don are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely choose it again!

Love the country setting in this neighbourhood. It’s peaceful, pretty and great for a morning trail run. I enjoy sipping my morning coffee while enjoying the view of Mt Arrowsmith. As a new retiree, I’m looking forward to creating a pleasant retreat for guests. My husband and I are always making little improvements on the property and we are ready to share our space with others.
