A beautiful get away spot close to many sights and activities. We enjoyed it immensely. Comfortable, well appointed, and well stocked. Will definitely return here when we are next on the island!

This lovely cottage in the woods was comfortable, tranquil, well appointed and equipped and a great location for exploring the Parksville, Coombs and Port Alberni area. We really enjoyed our stay and meeting our friendly host, Elsie.

Beautiful , clean cozy home, the host Elsie is wonderful and easy to get a hold of.Lovely outdoor patio and incredible view of the stars at night as there are no city lights near the location. Incredibly peaceful location.We have stayed here 2 years in a row and would definitely come back again.

Second time we've stayed at the 'loft' and it was just as great as it was the first time! Clean and well stocked, everything you need was there. The little extras like spices, condiments and coffee on arrival we really appreciated, so we didn't have to go back out after we arrived.Thanks, Elsie, we had a geat week.

Elsie was great. Helpful but discreet. The cottage was clean and so comfortable. It was a Peace reyreat. I would definitely go back.

This rental is located in a rural setting, which is just what we were looking for. The view out of every window was like looking at the canopy of trees surrounding us. The welcome champagne and chocolates were a nice treat. It is a good location to use as a base for visiting several parks, hikes, waterfalls and Qualicum Beach. And only a few minutes walk to the Coombs Country Market with the goats on the roof. Out host, Elsie, was very welcoming and helped us with resetting the WIFI to strengthen the signal. We highly recommend this property!

This is without a doubt the best short term rental I have found. The loft is private. The bed and pillows are excellent. It is incredibly well stocked including laundry facilities and every cooking utensil you will ever need is supplied. Elsie and Peter are very friendly while respecting guest property. It was an excellent choice as our home base to explore lovely Vancouver Island.

Lovely little loft, was perfect for my husband and I.Great location, quick drive any direction and you can hit a beach, lake or cute little town. The loft was spotlessly clean and the host Elsie was Lovely.

Wonderful place to stay near Qualicum Beach

We had a wonderful time at Elsie’s place. Great kitchen with everything you need, great beds, WiFi, big TV, laundry. We stayed longer than we planned because it was so comfortable, and Elsie was super helpful giving us tips and ideas for where to go locally. Would definitely go back again!
