Self-check-in with your family or friends to start your relaxing getaway at this comfortable home with a good-sized kitchen, three bedrooms and two full baths, featuring amazing wood burning fireplace. Located only 3 minutes from the lake, 5 minutes from Kern river, minutes from beautiful hiking trails, only 8 miles from Alta Sierra ski resort.
There is plenty room for parking even for your water and land toys.
For a great dining experience all you need to do is drive to Kernville - a 5-7 minute drive.
Rent water equipment and toys from a number of close by rental places to have full experience on the river or the lake. Both are within a few minutes drive from our house.

Beautiful location and great accomodations

Great location next to Lake Isabella and close to the Sequoia National Park. All amenities are great- follow host directions for cooling system operation and it's great.

My new Fiancé and I had a wonderful time here. The view and the house is beautiful. The town is really nice too. Our only dislike was how many times the fire alarm went off making meals. Other than that we had a wonderful time here! The host is very sweet and understanding as well.

Amazing views!

My stay here was very pleasant. The property is located on a hill with a great view of the lake (the full moon lit up the waters). Despite the heat outside, the A/C system kept the group cool. Also, the rooms were clean and spacious!

This is my second time staying here. AWESOME host. So nice and relaxing. I’ll definitely stay again. My boyfriend and I just wanted a little time away. We wanted a comfortable place with a nice view and that’s exactly what this place is. ❤️❤️

Getting amongst the giant Sequoias!

With a childhood connection to Kernville, it was time to re-visit this small town once again & what better way than to get away avoiding the chaotic fireworks of the big-city during 4th of July. This home is up in the hills above Lake Isabella with views of the water (north-west end) directly from the outdoor patio deck. Most any vehicle will make it just fine (even smaller compact cars) & plenty of parking for any size (except maybe a massive RV). Ana was terrific with details, and getting in-&-out with access onto the property was simple, no problem with code either for the house itself. Nice living room with fire-stick t.v., kitchen, bathroom/shower/toilet functioned well (just need to be conscious/courteous since it's on a delicate septic tank), bed was comfortable, ceiling fans with an already very nice natural breeze that came in off the lake & hills. And come nightfall, it's nothing but stars galore high-in-the-sky! (and a patriotic lighted glowing U.S.A. flag lit-up on a neighbor's cabin just above) This is a great choice, the location in Wofford Heights quite convenient not just to neighboring Kernville (can't go wrong at Pizza Barn for dinner), yet at the entrance of the national forest along the upper-Kern past Johnsondale to the Ponderosa with a stop for daily provisions! And impossible not to mention the heart-breaking shape so many of the trees are in from the immense Windy Gap fire (Fall '21), extensively charred for miles & miles up there. Yet nonetheless, once cannot deny the majestic-ness which is present among the Trail of 100 Giants, and our relaxing stay at this home with wonderful night's sleep allowed us the wonderful experience of a day-trip to enjoy the sequoias in all their magnitude & glory!

Perfect!!

This was the perfect house and location for us to be 1 min from our daughter’s house! It had everything we needed and the back deck and fire pit were awesome!!

Beautiful home

It was so beautiful and spacious I will be renting this home again the host is very nice and responds very quickly the patio was my favorite part it was so cute! But me and my friends had a nice time!
