Great base for exploring the area
A great little lodge. Ideal for exploring the area. However be aware that there are three beds in the main house with a double bed in a completely separate building across a courtyard, and another separate single across the courtyard. We were unaware of this and having three children it gave us all sorts of dilemmas. Lock them in the main building at night - Giving us no access to the toilet and concerns about what would happen if there was a fire? Or leave the door open, giving us concerns about an intruder or a sleepwalking child leaving the property. Altogether quite worrying and not made clear to us in the listing or at time of booking.
These concerns apart, the accommodation was very clean and is in a lovely location, close to the beach and secluded in the forest.
The facilities and furniture were fairly basic though. There wasn’t a kettle or microwave.
