Book and stay with only a 2-Night Minimum
Gotta Catch a Phish is a lovely 1BR/2BA riverfront condo with spectacular views. Fully stocked kitchen ready for making a home cooked meal if you wish. Stainless steel appliances, cherry wood cabinets, hardwood floors, flat screen TV's, with WIFI and screened in porch. Comfortably sleeps 6 with a king in the master, twin in the sitting room off of the master, and a queen pull out bed in living room. Communal pool and hot tub, onsite adjacent boat ramp and just minutes to the Gulf of Mexico and Florida's finest fishing! Only 2 miles to Carrabelle Beach.

Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children) and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve. Various activities are available including Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, birding, cycling paths across the road and guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs. There are a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket. Also close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course designed by Robert Walker. The St. Marks
Wildlife Refuge is a great outing for the entire family. Located a little over an hour from Tallahassee and only twenty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola, this retreat can be tailored to your own adventurous spirit.

Great condo, great location

We had a great two-night stay at Gotta catch a phish! Perfect little restaurant right next door. Short drive to Apalach. Clean house. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely stay again!

Great location

Location was perfect for our fishing trip as the public ramp to launch our boat was right across the waterway. It was also close to St. George Island and Apalachicola. The neighbors were extremely nice as well. There was ample parking for our boat.

If your looking to get away for some of the best R&R this is the place to go

This is a great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Some of the best sunrises ever. Boats coming in and out. Beautiful place very clean. We were very happy with our experience and would choose it again!

Great Rental

This unit was very clean and plenty of space for our family of 4 and great for a weekend of fishing, the boat landing is literally next to the property as well as a restaurant that we enjoyed being able to literally walk across the yard to get too. It has a king bed, twin roller bed and 2 sofa beds. Check in and out was very easy and hassle free. There are a lot of stairs so not a good choice for someone who has trouble with that. The parking at the unit was not large enough for our boat and vehicle and the additional boat/trailer parking was full and also had several vehicles parked there from overflow from other units so we had to unload and reload our boat each trip out (take out all of our poles, ice chest, etc.) and park our boat out on the side of the road but other than that, we did not have any other negatives with the stay and none at all with the unit! We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect spot for fishing in this area

The location and accommodations were perfect for our fishing trip to Carrabelle, Dog Island, and Lanark area. Supper clean, comfortable with a great place to grab food and beer next door. Boat ramp basically on sight for convenience. Will definitely rent again.

Just what we were looking for. Great to be right on the water--see the boats--and access to Carabelle and neighboring towns---the beautiful 'Forgotten Coast" with the fantastic drive to Apalach. The place was neat as a pin and had just what we needed

Almost Perfect

This was a perfect little getaway for the weekend. My only recommendation is that the owners replace the old orange chair in the living room. It was old and cracked, kind of dirty-looking. The rest of the place was great though.

Carabelle condo

Overall the condo was good. My only complaint on cleanliness was that there was dog hair everywhere and it did not seem like the floors had been swept or mopped. My second complaint that I was most bothered by was the fact there was no mattress pad on the bad. I almost did not sleep on the bed for that reason. The wifi was also an issue and even with the tech coming out, it still does not work so I was not able to work from home as I had planned. Overall, the view and condo was nice. Compliment to the property manager for delivering a blender and can opener last minute!
