Perfect for a romantic getaway, Siesta #7 is a charming retreat with great access to Geneva-on-the-Lake’s famous strip. Located on the historic Eagle Cliff property, this quaint and cozy cottage for two may still have its original name from 1930 but boasts every modern-day convenience travelers are looking for. A bright, welcoming, and contemporary interior warmly greets guests with a well-appointed kitchenette, queen bed, high-speed internet, flat screen TV, fresh linens, and essential bath items.
Enjoy morning coffee on the lovely, screened veranda, relax with a book on the porch swing, then head out for a full day of north shore activities. Evenings can be spent preparing dinner on the cottage’s personal grill, dining al fresco on the private, shaded picnic table, then unwinding by one of the common area’s stocked firepits while sharing a bottle of wine from a local winery.

Check in is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. Parking is easily accessible just off Lake Road.
Geneva-on-the-Lake in Ashtabula County, known as the “First Resort Village in Ohio,” is an old-fashioned lakefront getaway offering something for everyone, and Siesta #7 Cottage is in an ideal location for walking and easy driving to attractions on the famous entertainment Strip and north shore.

• Restaurants, nightclubs, amusement rides, ziplines, live entertainment, arts, unique shopping, and arcades provide entertainment for everyone in your group, including the evening concerts in Township Park. Play a round of golf at one of Geneva’s in-town or area golf courses. For family fun try one of the many miniature golf courses.
• Explore more than 20 Northeast Ohio wineries just minutes from Siesta #7 Cottage – two within walking distance. The Ashtabula and Lake County grape-growing regions produce most of Ohio’s wine grapes, giving our area the reputation as the state's finest. And don’t forget about our famous covered bridges.
• Arriving by boat? Dock within the safety of the harbor at nearby Geneva State Park. And Lake Erie itself has so much to offer: Book a sunset cruise or a fishing charter. Swim at the State Park or stroll along the beach, then take a ride on the Ferris wheel. There are several restaurants and wineries right on the lake, and our spectacular sunsets offer the perfect subject for photo enthusiasts.

Our getaway was mid Oct. Cool weather, but beautiful weather!. Older cottage, nice and clean. Reminded me of one from childhood, which was nice. Quiet while we were there...a good thing for us. Matt answered all questions i emailed ina timely matter. Nice and relaxing as we needed it.

It's small but clean and we had everything we needed to make it a pleasant stay. The strip location was great. The screened in porch was wonderful for drinking coffee in the morning and the porch swing was a delight. Absolutely no problems accessing the cottage when we arrived - the instructions we were provided were perfect. It was a very nice experience!

Felt like this was an almost perfect cabin for a trip to GOTL. If you pressed me hard to complain they would be minor and nit-picky. Definitely recommend.

Don't trust pretty photos - dated

Well, from 1st look,I wanted to drive away. Paint peeling, no outlet in kitchen except behind stove. Cottages was nice . Backed to two loud bars, bonfire pits were indeed one next to another.What got me was: we had to clean “throw all linen in hamper, never have I had to strip my bed, take out trash, do all dishes AND PAY A BIG CLEANING FEE

We liked the cottage but would suggest a table in the cottage of normal height with lower chairs. Or perhaps a Murphy table attached to the wall so it could be put up when not in use .thank you for delivering shorter chairs. Judy

We could not believe that the floor was unlevel several inches. My husband has terrible motion sickness and this really threw him off. Also the gaps in both doors were very unsettling. Disappointing for the price we paid

Only one small problem, otherwise we enjoyed the accomodations. Very clean, well stocked, and quaint, which was exactly what I wanted for our nostalgic girl cousin sleep over!

The outside could use some work, looks run down. There was no way to lock the door from the inside. I had to go out lock the numbered pad lock and walk around to be let in the back door. Other then that good Air conditioning and pretty clean inside. Overall it’s a place to sleep which is all we were looking for.

Worst cabin stay ever!

The space was much smaller than anticipated and lacked even a basic couch for relaxing. In addition:•The TV kept shutting off on its own, which made it difficult to unwind.•Light poured through the doors even when closed, making privacy and sleep a challenge.•We noticed animals living under the floor, which was both unsettling and noisy.•Only one roll of paper towels was provided, which wasn’t enough for a full stay.•The stove is dangerously close to the curtains—a serious fire hazard.•There was nowhere to unpack our clothes, forcing us to live out of our suitcases. A small stackable storage solution would have helped tremendously.•We were only given one towel and one washcloth per person—no extras—which was inconvenient for a multi-day stay.•The floors are uneven and clearly in need of leveling.•The coffee pot took an unusually long time to brew and clearly needs to be cleaned with vinegar or descaled.•There was no grill brush provided, making it difficult to use the outdoor grill properly.•The pillows were extremely flat, which made sleeping uncomfortable.•Lastly, the ashtrays on the porch hadn’t been emptied before our arrival.We were hoping for a more comfortable and better-equipped stay, and these issues made our time there much less enjoyable. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and make improvements for future guests.

GREAT LOCATION

We came to Geneva for the night just to get away. It was a perfect location and walking distance to everything on the strip. The place was perfect for one night. There were some loud neighbor's playing music late but you have that everywhere you go anymore. We didn't have a campfire but there were some people there that were and its a really nice set-up.

Cute little cottage, very comfortable. Owner is very accommodating and returns text messages promptly. The BBQ grill and porch swing made us feel at home. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay in cabin 7

The cabin is small, and old, but quaint and functional. We were disappointed not to have a coffee packet for the morning, but thought we could get a coffee down the street. Wrong ! Closed. We arrived 5 days before the opening of the strip, which I didn’t realize meant all the restaurants and coffee shops would be closed. Towels: the towels need an upgrade. These were so small and insufficient. Everything else was fine. Our arrival day was unseasonably warm and stuffy and the owner immediately called to get us an air conditioner, which was perfect. By morning, though, we were using the heater. An extra blanket might be nice to have on hand.I liked the vibe and can hear pleasant music from the bar far enough away to not be invasive. By the way— Scribbles in Geneva has the best coffee ever if you drive to Geneva. All in all a very good stay in a quaint iconic Geneva on the lake cottage.
