Light rippling on river, private dock, nature preserve beyond

I am a retired urban planner who designed streets in NYC, my husband is a photographer,. We LOVE to travel abroad except during Covid. Preparing this home for you has been a fun project. I walked in and on seeing the sweeping river-views from the living, dining and master bedroom; I knew it was the one. Our son had just moved from Brooklyn to Riverhead which made us realize what a wonderful town it has become. The house is elevated above any flooding danger, however the river comes close for panoramic sight-lines from the house in both directions or one can be surrounded by river on the private dock. The road makes it convenient to all but does have some traffic that can be heard in the front yard but not the house or back-yard. It can only be rented once in a 30 day period so let me know if you want a reduced rate for a shorter period.

Walk into the main level and the living, dining, eat-in-kitchen, two bedroom and upper level bath have all you might need. The lower level family room and studio with a picture-window door to the dining patio has been great this summer for a family's 20 year old. She took over the lower level with its own entry, smart TV, kitchenette without stove, as well as private bathroom. The lower level is also great to support outdoor barbecuing with the propane grill. Neighbors on each side are lovely.
