Do Not Rent This Home
We did not enjoy our stay in this rental at all. As a matter of fact, we left after less than one week. The house is very tired and old. When we arrived, the house smelled musty, possibly moldy, and although we opened windows, and later turned on the air conditioning, the smell never quite left. The furniture is quite old. Sitting on the sofa is practically sitting on the floor. Except for the master bed, the beds were not comfortable, and the pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, and uneven. The other beds didn't align when we pushed them together. The old dining room chairs have plastic covers! Carpeting throughout does not look or feel clean. Hot water was very limited. The shower in the master is extremely small.
Not only did we have to bring our trash to the landfill, but there were no (required) trash bags, and we had to purchase them. We had to move things in the garage to fit our bicycle inside. and it was very difficult to get to the washer and dryer which were also in the garage.
We were not able to stay in this rental - not even for the first full week. We left after 4 days.
The owner returned our second week. but not our security damage deposit although he has no reason to keep it!. We want to alert other potential renters that they can do better!
