BAY VIEWS! Escape to our charming house by the St. Joe Bay! Situated on a beautifully landscaped ½ acre lot surrounded by old Florida foliage, this spacious home is sure to be the perfect getaway for your family! Enjoy your morning coffee on our screened in deck off of the main level with views of the State Buffer Preserve. Never miss a sunset from our additional screened deck on the bay side of the house. Designed with an open concept floor plan, the eat in kitchen is open to the large living space so you won’t miss out on any family activities. The home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. The Master bedroom features a King bed. Bedroom #2 has a King bed. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed. Each bedroom features large closets and TVs. The living room is so spacious and open and includes a 70” flat screen TV, equipped with Direct TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and pots and pans. The outdoor area has a beautiful yard, patio and grill and is ready for your memories to be made!

A spacious parking pad with 12’6” clearance allows plenty of room for your boats and other toys!

Whether your desire is fishing, boating, swimming, snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, tennis, golf, bicycling or walking on nature trails you will find it here. With just a 2-minute drive to the beautiful Salinas Park, you will find beach and bay access, boardwalk access, outdoor picnic areas, horseback riding, kayak launch, nature trails and much more.

This house is right in the middle of all of the action. If boating is your thing, you can drive a few minutes in either direction to the boat launches. Our downtown area is about 8 miles away and includes boutiques for shopping that offer antiques, home furnishings, local art, unique gifts and the cutest clothing! Enjoy access to some of the best local restaurants that serve savory and fresh local seafood and sweet treats.


Whatever your pleasures are, you will definitely find them here. You will not find another quaint and quiet town such as Port Saint Joe. You will definitely want to come back to the Forgotten Coast and put your mind at ease with the simplicity of Port Saint Joe. It is so special to us and we hope that it brings you relaxation, memories of fun with your family and so much joy.

The property was very well stocked and very clean. The fact that it was pet friendly and they provided a crate was awesome. Communication with the host was top notch. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the home to others.

Beautiful home!

We loved this house so much! Plenty of room for a family with kids. We loved the big porches and the view of the bay. Great location, clean, fully stocked with everything you will need.

We loved our stay! The location is perfect. You have close access to Port St. Joe, the Cape, and Apalachicola. It easily housed two center console boats plus an extra car. The home was very clean, spacious, and provided all amenities needed. Though we brought our own, there was a dog kennel provided which I really liked. The views on the back and front porch were great! You can watch the sun rise and set each day. The yard had zero ants so no worries for your feet or fur babies.

We enjoyed our stay here. Close to beach,town, restaurants, shopping. Apalachicola another nice town is only 30 minutes away, Panama City about 50 minutes. House very clean. Has everything you need. Host is so nice!

This place is amazing. Beautiful sunsets on the Bay, plenty of parking spaces for boats, kayaks and cars. Beautiful beaches close by.

Relaxing Stay

Great sunsets from the porch and short drive to beach. Plenty of room and good supply of items needed for cooking. Good communications I would recommend.

House was real nice and roomy.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to to some nice beaches. Only thing that kinda stun was WiFi but being where it’s located it can’t be helped. Karisa was amazing to deal with.

Comfortable stay

Bethal was clean and tidy. Very comfortable but a bit noisy as house is very close to highway. We used both front and back screened in porchs. Could have used a more generous supply of towels. We were washing and drying supplied towels every other evening.

Great Property

We had a great stay here. The property was very clean! The host was prompt with communication and helpful every step of the way. The beach on the peninsula was beautiful and not populated for a mid-April visit to the coast. The beach welcomed our dog, as does this property. Two aspects that seemed above and beyond what we've experienced elsewhere were the beds and the kitchen knives. The beds were fantastic - all of them! And the knives were nice and sharp and made us want to pick up the same brand when ours are ready to be replaced. Overall, a great choice for a family of 5 dog vacation!

Was not expecting the amenities for dogs...including a crate and bowls (just in case we forgot)! We could even take our fur baby to the beach on a leash! Great location for finding good food in Port St. Joe, and great beach withing a few miles! Would highly recommend for pet owners!

We had a great, short stay! Karisa was very prompt with communication and was just a text away if we needed her. The house was wonderful, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I have back problems, so the beds are always the first thing I notice =) Our pup had a great time, as well!

Perfect!

Karisa is an excellent host--from reaching out to let us know we could check in early, to providing a clean, comfortable place (complete with large screened porches) to come home to in the evenings We have made several trips from north Alabama to Port St. Joe recently due to family business, and this property is by far the most inviting, clean, and comfortable place we have found. We highly recommend this charming cottage which is near to downtown Port St. Joe as well as a short drive to the beach at Cape San Blas.

Beautiful house and so inviting. We wanted to move in. Most comfortable furniture in every room.

You will not be disappointed staying here. The living room furniture and the beds were the best in over twenty years of renting in the area. The sunsets from the front porch were awesome and the wildlife noises from the natural settings at night were mesmerizing. There is everything in the kitchen you need to cook whatever you desire and it was just an awesome experience. Thank you Karissa for sharing your house and being an awesome host!

Feels very homey

We were really pleased with everything! The owners have everything there that you need, including beach towels to use! It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The owner was very easy to communicate with and even gave us suggestions. One of things we enjoyed was that is wasn’t in the busy area, other than being on the highway which made for a little noise. That is a tiny thing compared to how nice it was! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Hello! We are Karisa and Chris Holbrook and we are so excited for your interest in our home at our happiest place! We currently live full-time in Centreville, Alabama, but would love to relocate to Port St. Joe in the future. We have been married for a little over a year and it has been a year full of adventure! Some of our sweetest memories together have been on The Forgotten Coast. Port St. Joe is one if the most special and unique places we have ever had the pleasure of loving. I, Karisa, have been vacationing here since I was a little girl and Chris started coming down when we started dating. Chris has never been a "beach person," but he was sold out to Port St. Joe his first visit! We agree that there is no other beach experience like the one you get here. Kip, our golden retriever, also had a major life change with his first visit! He will lay at the front door and cry until we take him to the beach! He is just like his mama:) It has been a long-time dream of ours to own a home here and in 2021 our dream came true! Our prayer is that our home will bring you as much joy as it has brought us. We hope the simplicity of our home and town will help to provide you with a peaceful escape from the crazy world we are living in. We know that memories and time with your family are something that can never be replaced and we hope that you find yourself making plenty of priceless memories here.

We have been eyeing the location where our home is every time we go down to Port St. Joe! Every time we would drive by we would always say "that would be the perfect spot to have a house!" We think our place is in a perfect location. It is right in the middle of everything that we love to do!

The views of the sunset from the front porch are untouchable. It's such a beautiful sight to see the sun go down over the water peeking through the old Florida foliage. Picture Perfect!
