A Special Holiday with the Family

The property was as described with four bedrooms and 6 beds - no one had to lie on a sofa bed! - although the top floor room was in the roof space and had limited height. The layout was very good for our family of 3 generations although a stair gate would have been useful for us. The kitchen area was well laid out and the barbeque was a great feature. Perhaps we could have made use of an oven but this is a very minor issue. The well maintained pool was a fantastic amenity as we used it every day to cool down. The air conditioning was great and absolutely essential during the very hot weather we had.

Overall disappointed. Great location, can do everything by foot including groceries (there is a shortcut to town for pedestrians), amazing pool and the air conditioning in most floors was great. House was clean besides moldy shower curtain and beds were comfortable. There is a 2 cars garage underground which is great to keep cars cool in the heat. We were 8.The agency renting the house is great and reacted fast when we brought up issues, but the house was not maintained properly. For the first 24hours we didn’t have AC, it was blowing hot and needed a recharge, which was done the next day thankfully (we had to move the kids beds to the basement so they could sleep, temp was over 40 degrees C in their room). House was missing a few basics which were brought to us promptly after request (enough spoons, a broom, a cutting board, ..) but the kitchen supplies were still not fit to cook for 8 which was challenging. You cannot run the AC and the dishwasher or the washing machine at the same time, it trips the breaker (even in eco mode) which was a burden.You could see humidity stain on the walls in the basement bedroom.The house doesn’t come with linens and bath towels, you can bring your own or pay per person for basics.We still had a great vacation but felt like the house was too expensive for what we got. If you do need anything, just ask the agency they react fast and are nice.

La maison est très bien située : à 5 minutes à pied il y a le supermarché et à peine 10 minutes pour arriver au lac et ensuite à Bardolino.La maison dispose d'un très beau jardin avec barbecue ce qui est agréable.La piscine est elle aussi magnifique. Nous en avons bien profité.La maison nécessite cependant un rafraîchissement et n'est pas bien équipée.Il manque des ustensiles de cuisine, des verres. Et peut être un four.La douche du haut n'a aucune pression et n'est pas adaptée pour de la location. Celle du bas a un rideau moisi qui devrait être changé.La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement mais il etait impossible de lancer un appareil électrique avec la clim ou même 2appareils ensemble ce qui nous a bien ennuyé.Au niveau des chambres il y a une chambre sous comble qui n'est pas très agréable mais a la climatisation. Et une chambre au sous sol dans laquelle nous ne nous sommes pas plus et le matelas nécessite d'être changé.Pour conclure nous avons quand même passé un bon sejour grâce au jardin, à la piscine, à l'emplacement de la maison mais avons été déçus du rapport qualité-prix.

Das Haus war wie beschrieben mit vier Schlafzimmern und Betten für 8 Personen. Es war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool war fantastisch und es war schön, etwas Platz im Garten zu haben.

Die Anlage war Tip Top gepflegt, ...

Die Anlage war Tip Top gepflegt, auch der Garten ums Haus rum. Nur innen lies die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Überall waren Spinnweben, Dreck in den Ecken, die Bäder miserabel mit Schimmel und Urinstein. Eine gründliche Reinigung wäre angebracht. Außerdem ist die Dusche im Hauptbad eine Zumutung. Grundsätzlich ist das Haus aber toll, die Lage und die Umgebung haben unsere Missstimmung wieder gebessert

Das Haus mit tollem Garten ist ...

Das Haus mit tollem Garten ist an sich sehr schön. Das Dachzimmer ist allerdings für kleine Kinder über eine Wendeltreppe nicht ungefährlich zu erreichen und für größere Kinder fast zu niedrig. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist eher unterirdisch. Was für uns vor allem wichtig war, war der geschlossene Garten mit wunderbarer Terrasse und der überaus gepflegte schöne Pool.
