Spacious Townhouse in an Unbeatable Location

This is the first time we have ever received a review like this. Frankly it is outrageous and libelous. On both this site and the other major rental site we have consistently received very strong reviews over the past five years from the dozens of families who have rented our home. It is clean, spacious, convenient to everything, has two dedicated parking spaces and many, many personal touches and amenities throughout. More importantly, it looks exactly like it does in all the photos. No filters, no AI, no edits. People know exactly what they are getting when they book our place. And we always give our guests our phone numbers so they can contact us directly in the event that there are ever any issues. It was very unfortunate timing that the thermostat needed a new battery on the day of your arrival, but in fairness you arrived at 8 am—despite our posted 3 pm check in time—so you were able to enjoy a full first day at no additional cost. Given the early hour, I asked you to purchase a new battery next door at cvs because it was the quickest way to remedy the situation, and I offered to reimburse you for it. Throughout your stay, you complained about multiple non-issues such as not having enough dish towels in the kitchen despite the fact that there is a whole bundle of brand new dish towels under the sink as well as a closet full of towels of all shapes and sizes in the upstairs closet. I responded that you were welcome to buy additional dish towels at our cost or you could wash the ones you had used. You also complained that the bike tires were flat—which happens when they sit unused—and asked us to repair them despite that there were several bike pumps in the garage. At the end of the day, our pictures are 100% accurate. Our place is in the heart of Margate. It is neat, spotless, cozy, and welcoming. We shampoo the carpets in between each rental. The beds are new and comfortable. The water pressure is fantastic. The kitchen is huge and has every utensil, cooking tool, and small appliance you could ever want or need, as well as k-cups, condiments, cookware, bakeware, and serving pieces. We provide bedding, sheets and towels so guests don’t need to rent them. We provide 4 beach tags so guests don’t need to buy their own—for a savings of $80. We have outdoor furniture and a grill with a full tank of gas. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, buggies, shovels and buckets, tennis rackets, Wii games for inclement weather, and fishing gear. If you wanted an ultramodern penthouse or luxe mansion on the beach because that’s what you’re accustomed to living in San Francisco you could have rented one. But to say our place is poor is just inaccurate and inappropriate.
