## Emplacement
The 8th arrondissement is where are located the Champs-Elysees, famous for being the most beautiful avenue in the world. There is also the Palace of the same name (the Elysee Palace), which is the residence traditionally assigned to the French head of state, as well as several embassies set up in sumptuous mansions. The most impressive monument in the district is the Arc de Triomphe, located at the West end of the Champs-Elysées.
