This home is walking distance to the Sandy shores of Jerseys best beaches! KIDS of ALL AGES will love this property for its size and location. Beach Badges included. PLUS everything you need; chairs, bicycles, Boogie boards, beach games, towels and a wagon.
Set far back from the street, this private home has 2900 sq ft of space inside. Immaculately clean with soft and stylish linens in the bedrooms and baths. Huge fenced in yard with custom built Pergola, outdoor furniture & grill. Plenty of parking. Fully stocked kitchen.
Basketball hoop, tree swing and a NEW park behind the house.
Inside: table top games,LEGOs, board games, books and movies.
Outside: Bikes, Skateboards, Pickleball paddles (court at park), folding tables, ping pong set up and extra refrigerator. Workout equipment also in the garage*
All 5 bedrooms have ceiling fans, Smart T.V.'s and high speed internet.

Nice house (especially with kids)We were 5 adults, two toddlers and a 9 month old baby. (Let the host know ahead of time if you need a crib and high chair)The rooms are nice sizes. 4 upstairs and the 5th room downstairs is more of a tv room with a pull out couch. My mother in law stayed in that room and said it was comfortable enough. We liked this location because it was close to the beach but also grocery stores and restaurants. Beach wagon, chairs, towels and beach toys are all there. Kids loved the tree swing in the front of the house. Great family getaway place.

Very nice home. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions. Private driveway which made it easy to park our cars. Nice appliances. Lots of TVs. Loved the front yard and Percola with lights! About a little less than a mile to the beach. 5 beach badges provided were very handy. The beach was great. Lake Como is close by. Easy access to Main st and restaurants. We had a great week!

We have kids of different ages in our family. It’s hard to keep the older ones (24 &26) actually excited about going on a family vacation. But, they loved Belmar. And the younger ones loved the parks and beaches. 5 Beach badges provided. (Kids under 15 years don’t need one.) Everyone is looking forward to returning next summer!

Came in for the Asbury Park Music Festival (See.Hear.Now.) My husband, myself and three older children. Looked for a hotel and found there arent any in the area. Saw this place on VRBO. The house is clean and updated, my family really liked it. It is located in Lake Como, which has Spring Lake on one side and Belmar on the other. It was only 10 minutes to Asbury Park. We explored all of these towns including Bradley Beach which seems to have the best restaurants (highly recommend Bamboo Leaf!). I love how close all of these shore towns are, we could bike ride through all of them in a day. I also recommend a visit to Ocean Grove to feel like you went back in time to a victorian beachtown. Overall we had a blast, loved this place and hope to get the chance to return.

I wish I found this house sooner.Every summer we visit extended family at the Jersey shore. I look forward to seeing them, BUT I don’t look forward to the congested streets, fighting for a parking spot and the rental houses on top of each other with no yard or privacy.This place is the exact opposite! It has a huge private yard, a driveway that can fit 5 (or more?) vehicles and a sprawling home that was clean, comfortable & gave everyone their own space. All this in a central location to everything. My kids biked every morning. My husband loved the pickleball courts behind the house & we could walk to the beach. We will be back every summer!

Beautiful beach house!!!

My family and I had a great week!!! The house has plenty of room and each room has a lot of charm!!! The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating!!! Would definitely stay there again!!!

This was a great home for a vacation for our extended family. The description said that the kitchen was well stocked. That is an understatement. Pretty much everything you need with condiments and utensils. There were plenty of toys, recreational items and beach stuff.We would definitely rent again.

Family reunion weekend

Great long weekend in Belmar! House was just as described and plenty of room for 9 adults and 2 kids! The beach badges, chairs and bikes came in very handy. Beach and boardwalk were just a short distance away. As was the park w basketball and tennis courts…kids loved it! House had everything we needed. Patio out front was great and grill was handy too. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and AC was great too. House is very close to the train but with the AC you don’t really hear it. Host Nicole was incredibly helpful and responsive! Great weekend!

5 stars – Perfect getaway for families and dog lovers!

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Como home and will definitely be back again. The house was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything a family might need—including for those with young kids. What really made it special for us was the huge front yard. It was the perfect space for our dogs to run and play, which can be hard to find near the beach!There’s also a beautiful path around the lake just a block away, where we took the dogs for daily walks—it was peaceful and scenic, a real highlight of the trip. We also made great use of the bicycles at the house, riding into town to grab ice cream or explore the area.The beach was just a short, easy walk away—great for morning strolls or quick trips with kids in tow. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and the home had a cozy, welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. We’ve stayed in a number of rentals over the years, but this one really stood out. Highly recommend!

It was great for our dog to have a nice fenced yard. It was clean however, the living room couches probably need to be replaced , they were hard between the cushions in multiple locations. And the description of it being 5 bedrooms was not accurate - there is a pullout sofa bed in a room to access the only bathroom downstairs. No adult can comfortably sleep on this bed.Also there were only 5 beach badges included. The house can sleep more than 5 , it was not expected that we had to pay for a daily badge given the cost of this rental. Lastly, the bathroom shower has no grab bar and has a taller than typical tub wall making it difficult to step over when entering the tub.

First, I want to thank you for being such an amazing host throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the property did not meet our expectations. My wife was undergoing a medical procedure during our stay, and we chose not to raise concerns at the time because we had a lot going on personally and did not want to add additional stress. I even briefly looked into finding another place to stay, but traveling with our two dogs made that very difficult.I wanted to share some honest observations in the hope that they can help improve the property for future guests:The home appeared not to have been properly cleaned before our arrival.The couches were covered in sand. - The Showers were covered with Mildew -There were spider webs throughout the stair railings and several other areas of the home.Many of the interior features are showing significant age and wear, including cabinets that are falling apart - The barbecue grill is in very poor condition and appears to need replacement. The air conditioning system struggled to cool the home adequately. To be clear, the outdoor space was fantastic, especially for our dogs. I am sharing this feedback not to criticize you personally. In fact, my experience with you as a host was excellent. My concern is simply that unless the home is cleaned more thoroughly and some of the aging interior items are updated, future guests may have a disappointing experience.I sincerely hope you take this feedback in the spirit it is intended.

Best beach house!

It was extremely easy; the owner contacted me throughout the whole process. The rental was left immaculate for me and my family. It was stocked with many convenient items. The location was walking distance to the beach. Bikes were provided so we were able to ride to many scenic locations. My sons loved the grill. At night we were able to watch movies in the spacious family room together. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Fabulous!

Our family of 6 adults and our two year old granddaughter had an AMAZING two weeks in this gorgeous house. Nicole could not have been nicer or more accommodating, answering all our questions, checking in on us and even leaving a gift basket of beach toys for our little one. The inside of the house has many places to spread out, or big enough to gather the whole group! The fenced-in large front yard with a lovely pergola was just what we needed for a drink at the end of the day while Sawyer ran around and played safely. There is a nearby train (that didn’t bother us), but if you are a light sleeper, bring a sound machine. All in all, a fantastic vacation!!!

Perfect vacation for the kids. Bring the little ones and we have babygates to keep them safe. Older kids can enjoy bike riding, playing basketball or visiting the park behind the house. Adult children will love how close they are to the famous pubs in town.
