Fantastic house in fantastic location in quiet cove right by Twin Cove marina. The stairs from the lake can be challenging for older people.

Thank you for the feedback and choosing to stay with us. Sorry to hear about bugs. We treated shortly before your stay and some must have been lingering. Haven’t heard of any issues recently. Thanks again and all the best!

Home away from home!

Great Lake house! Spectacular view! Well equipped kitchen. Great location! Nice dock with kayaks and paddle boards. Twin cove marina was 5 minutes away. Good restaurant at the marina. Super market 15 minutes away. 217 stairs down to the dock was an adjustment, for those who had a hard time going back up we would just drop them off at marina from boat and drive over to pick them up. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Loved our CoHaMa Lake House stay!

Your home was the perfect setting for our combined 3 family summer getaway. It was very roomy with several large gathering areas. The dining room table was perfect for game nights and ping pong tournaments. Many hours were spent relaxing, floating, bonding, and laughing on the dock. We even came to appreciate the 225 steps down and up to the lake as they made us feel like we earned our dinner! The proximity to the marina was an extra plus! We would recommend CoHaMa Lake House and would love to come back again!

Property was AMAZING. Great location, right off the freeway. Loved view and space in the house. Kayaks and paddle boards great addition. Dock was spacious and great for kids. Plenty of room in the house! Had plenty of plates dishes and pots and pans. Pretty much everything you need. Downstairs was a great hang out for teens. Fire pit out front was also nice! Stairs from the water/dock were brutal on the way up but doable by evening the oldest members of our family with a break.

This spacious home sits on a beautiful property and has plenty of room for a large family with children! The kitchen was fully stocked and the large dining room table was great for game nights. The kayaks and paddle boards were a hit with the kids. The dock is fantastic and nestled in a little cove, the adults floated comfortable while the kids played/swam. Beware of the stairs- doable for young families but would caution elderly or those with health issues. Overall my only concern was the cleanliness. From the surface it looked fine but the amount of dead (and some live) bugs along with cobwebs and just dirt on the baseboards and corners was a bit alarming. We actually used a swiffer in the downstairs bedrooms because of so many cobwebs and dust near the beds. The amount of dirt under the sofas downstairs was also concerning. I would say this is no fault of the owner perhaps, likely need to check with the cleaning company, but for the amount we paid for the home the cleanliness was subpar unfortunately. A good deep clean and I would have easily given our stay a 5/5. Thanks for allowing us in your rental.

Thank you so much for the detailed review and for highlighting how much your family enjoyed the spacious layout, fully stocked kitchen, lake dock, and water toys! We are thrilled those amenities helped make your stay memorable, but we are truly sorry that the cleanliness fell short of expectations and caused an inconvenience. While we treat for bugs multiple times throughout the year and conduct thorough deep cleans at the start of every season, we recognize that staying on top of hidden spots like baseboards, under furniture, and cobwebs during the peak summer rush requires even greater vigilance. Please rest assured that we take this feedback very seriously, and we will be following up directly with our cleaning team to institute more frequent mid-season deep cleans so every guest experiences the 5-star standard they pay for. We appreciate you choosing our home, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better stay in the future!

Great location and wonderful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The house is VERY well equipped in terms of the kitchen and bonus — the cabinets and light switches are labeled so you don’t have to try every switch, drawer, etc. Nice layout that permitted the kids to hang out downstairs and the adults upstairs. The view is AMAZING — enjoyed mornings at the breakfast nook table. Location was close to local areas and the Twin Cove Marina. Towels and sheets were a nice quality — not thin or scratchy. We also loved our daily visits from “Marley”, a dog in the neighborhood who was super sweet and friendly. As other reviews have mentioned, aside from the roughly 210 steps in between the house and boat dock…this place is great!! Thanks for opening your home to us.

Nice and quiet lake stay

Easy to access off I-75. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults, 5 teens, and 2 kids. Morning coffee on back porch overlooking lake was nice, as were evenings around fire pit out front. Home was clean and everything in working order. Short drive to Twin Cove marina to rent boat or jet skis. Used the paddleboards and kayaks included with house quite a bit. Big dock with part shaded. In corner of lake, so not much traffic and nothing causing big wakes. About 200 steps up and down to dock. Teens did it several times a day, adults kept it to once or twice a day. Drove grandma to marina and picked up with boat to avoid the steps. Very nice stay overall.

Annual Trip

Our family takes an annual trip to Norris every year, and up until this year, we have always stayed in the same house, at a different location. The Twin Cove Marina area has always been our favorite part of the lake, so when I found this home, I decided to switch it up. Heath was great to deal with throughout the whole process. We spent all of our days on the water, and the dock accommodated our two boats perfectly. The swim portion of the dock is very large and even has a shaded portion where a picnic table sits. If you’re planning to pull a boat, there is plenty of space to get to the house and maneuver your trailer. I would recommend taking Ridge Rd off of the main road until you hit Dove Way and then Dillon Ln. We put our boats in at Twin Cove, from the house, we went back to Ridge Rd, backed into Perry Smith Lane, and turned around onto Ridge Rd which leads you to Twin Cove. Evenings were spent grilling dinner and playing games around the table. The flat front yard is also great, so bring your Cornhole boards or Spikeball like we did. Thank you for opening your home to us. Another year of memories we will always hold onto.

Thanksgiving Getaway

The house was very spacious and beautiful! The driveway was plenty large enough for 4 vehicles. The appliances are modern but we had trouble getting the ice maker in the freezer to make ice. We enjoyed time out on the deck and the younger family members went up & down to the lake but there are around 200 steps. It was perfect for our fall family get together!

Swim and boating

The property is awesome. The view from the deck is awesome and having the dock was wonderful. The steps down to the dock gave us a workout. The steps were an issue for a couple of us on vacation. Need to make them more safe for people over 40. But overall this place was wonderful.

Great Place for a Relaxing Weekend

The pictures don’t do this house justice. The upstairs is very spacious with lake views from every room on the back of the house. The 10 ft ceilings make an already open area even bigger and there is plenty of seating in the living room to spread out. The two dining areas around the kitchen are great as well and have lots of seating for everyone. The downstairs features another living space which is great for the kids to play in. We had 3 couples and 6 children and everyone had room to hang out together or separately. The owner was very easy to communicate with and there are numerous state parks nearby for outdoor activities. We really enjoyed the trip there.

Weekend stay for the football game!

There was 15 of us ( 8 adults and 7 kids) and we were very happy with the house. The house was very spacious and everyone had a bed to sleep on. It had really nice view of the lake and where it’s located it’s very private. This was a really nice property and we will definitely stay here again.
