Waters Edge

Waters Edge is a custom house built specifically for entertaining guests for a truly memorable vacation with family or friends.
The house is a open floor plan that flows from the beautiful interior to the amazing exterior and surrounding waterfront.
I created this home for a truly wonderful guest experience. This home is what I have learned during the last 10 years with owning 5 other vacation rentals and managing other properties and I placed it all into this magnificent home.
The home consists of 5,000 sqft of interior space and 1200 sqft of cover porch space along with 800 sqft of sun deck area with a heated pool, plus 1200 sqft of brick patio with a hot tub.

Pool is normally opened mid May and closes in September, all depends on the weather.
Hot Tub is open year round.

*** Listing price is for 8 guests in 4 of the bedrooms. These bedrooms include: First Floor Master, Two Basement Bedrooms and The Loft Bedroom.

There’s an additional fee of $1000 during peak season while the pool is open and $600 in off season when pool is closed. If you choose to have all 7 bedrooms and want to bring more than 8 guests, which brings your total guest amount to 16. The house and property is designed for a maximum occupancy of 16 including any guests that you may have stop over during the day.
Please let me know if you need all 7 bedrooms even if you only have 8 guests. So an additional payment request can be taken care of through the site. The fee is a one time charge for the length of your stay.

Amazing house! Pros: Very large house, ideal for a few families to stay. It has 7 bedrooms, and 5 of them are the master bedrooms. Very large open area for kids to play, and a Basement for adults to relax. Very important, every stair has a child gate safety, even outside. It has a music system for outside grill and pool area.Cons: The fire pit area is not separated from the hill, so you need to watch out for kids or your friends who have had too much beer.

Brian graciously met us on arrival and gave us a full tour of the workings of the house, from thermostats to hot tub. He was prompt in fixing the one thing that didn't work and was always available but never intrusive.

We absolutely loved staying here. Brian greeted us and made us feel right at home. Everything was beautiful decorated, the bed were amazing, bathrooms stunning, and a kitchen any chef would love. The outdoor was so peaceful and had all sorts of outdoor games that everyone enjoyed. Evening were perfect sitting out on the decks and simply enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

If I could give the property 1,000 stars I would! The pictures and descriptions do not do it justice! The house was full of luxuries and thoughtful touches! Two stoves, two dishwashers, commercial refrigerator and freezer! Beautifully appointed! Sooooo comfortable! Immaculate! We stayed with my husband’s 5 siblings and their spouses! Everyone had their own space and zero complaints! The common spaces were more than able to accommodate us all! Family dinners were special events and conversations on the deck created forever memories! We highly recommend the host and the property!

Great communication with our host, from booking to check-in and departure. House is beautiful and spacious: huge living, dining and outdoor entertaining areas. Big, well-equipped kitchen and enough bed/bathrooms to easily accommodate large groups (we were 14). On top of that, a pool, hot tub, and stunning view over the Susquehanna River, which is just a short stroll away. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Water’s Edge!

Brian was an exemplary host -- there should be a way to give him 6 stars. The property was outstanding in every way; absolutely perfect for our family reunion (four families; 7 adults, 4 children, 1 infant). The kids loved it and so did the adults. There are at least four master bedrooms; we've been staying at vrbos for more than a dozen years and never had such luxurious accommodations for everyone. Huge dining room table with room for all of us; ditto for the living room for games and discussions. Equipped with tons of thoughtful amenities: pool toys, outdoor speakers, mini disc golf course, volleyball court, tetherball, swings and slide, two dish washers, two refrigerators... we could just go on and on. Oh yeah, forgot the pool table. And it's right on the water - great views in the morning and sunsets in the evening. Bald eagles, herons, rabbits. Train tracks cross the property so we did need to be careful -- but the trains were one more attraction for the kids.

Beautiful house and property that my extended family consisting of 14 people (ranging from ages 8 to 81) thoroughly enjoyed. Just bring your own groceries and the kitchen is stocked with everything else anyone could need. My brother-in-law brought his own kayaks and body boards so we could explore the river and tiny island across from the property. Brian was a great host; always available to answer all of our questions (and we had a lot) about the house and things to do in the area.

This is our second trip to Waters Edge. The house has everything and the host is awesome. We had a couple very minor issues while staying there (ice machine was leaking, and a beep noise was coming from the pool filter) and he responded immediately to get them taken care of. There are plenty of nice touches that you don't see at all rental properties - complimentary coffee and wine, all linens, and the above mentioned ice machine. We hope to be back, as long as our schedules allow it!

All I can say is WOW

This home is more than beautiful! The layout was so open that even with 15 of us we were not crowded at all. The view off the balcony is serene and a beautiful way to start the day with coffee and family. Oh-and the table-all of us together at each dinner was a joy. We all loved the pool, outdoor games and fire pit. Not one moment of boredom for anyone-ages 1-65. Brian is a top notch host for sure! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with our family!!! I see another stay at this property in our future!!!!

Great place for our annual family reunion!

For the third year in a row we enjoyed our family time in this beautiful and spacious home. The pool and hot tub are always a big hit. We rented a kayak one day which was fun. Due to some downpours of rain before and during our stay, the ground was a bit soggier than previous years where our grandkids liked to explore along the river.

We came for three nights with family and met friends there. The house was amazing! The owner of the home met us and gave us the grand tour and told us everything we would need to know about the house and property. The bedrooms were spacious and met our needs/wants perfectly! The house was so clean and well maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and catching up with family and friends. The layout of the house was perfect for us! We had our own privacy with our own spacious bathrooms and then a large area for us all to come together for fun, cooking and lots of games. We enjoyed the water views from the whole house. What abplace

We were traveling for my son’s wedding and needed a large place form my family and extended family to stay. We found Water’s Edge. The photos don’t do it justice. What a great place that was plenty large enough that we weren’t on top of each other. The host met us at the place and walked us through. He was very generous and gave us the ins and outs of the place. The rooms were great and the place was super clean. There is so much to do in the area. Some complain about the trains running through the back, while they are noticeable, they weren’t awful. We would like to visit in the summer time and take advantage of the water and the pool. This is definitely a place we will try and stay again. Thanks Brian for your hospitality.

Team Training Event

My team and I were looking for a quite space to relax and unwind in the evenings durng a multi day training event with a top client in the area. Everyone was blown away at the beauty of the area, and all the amazing ammenities the house provided...including an amazing commercial grade kitchen for cooking meals each night, pleanty of rooms and privacy for our group of 6, and an awesome host who made sure we had everythig we needed...including a walk through at check in and updates about local weather!!!!

Unique benefits, where do we begin. Large open concept house with water views from everywhere. Pool over looking and huge yard with the Susquehanna River as the backdrop. Large covered deck with wet bar, grill and hot tub below on the brick patio.
Chefs dream kitchen with plenty of space to create a masterpiece of a meal for your family to enjoy. Seating for everyone at the custom table to seat 16. Game room in the basement with pool table and bar area to chill at. 7 bedrooms with beds for up to 16 guests.
