Woodpeckers, a comfortable modern house, set in beautiful, tranquil gardens.

Woodpeckers is a well-equipped two-bedroomed modern house, located in the beautiful landscaped wooded grounds of Pendra Loweth Holiday Village, approximately 2 miles from Falmouth, and a short drive from the beautiful beaches of Gyllyngvase, Swanpool and Maenporth.
Guests have access to all the facilities, including a seasonal bar and cafe, outdoor tennis courts, seasonal indoor spa pool and jacuzzi, a gym, and indoor and outdoor children's play areas.
The ground floor accommodation consists of a large open-plan lounge/ dining room , kitchen and cloakroom/ WC. On the first floor there is a master bedroom, a second bedroom with full-sized adult bunk beds and a bathroom with a bath and electric shower. Excellent speed Wi-fi is available in all rooms.
Towels and bedding is included.
Outside, there is a south-facing private terrace with ample seating overlooking a trout stream. The property benefits from a single private parking space.
The surrounding area has many footpaths through stunning countryside and with beautiful coastal views.
Falmouth town is lovely, with some astounding views across the water to Flushing. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and cafe’s. Also, from the Quay, you can take boat trips to several amazing locations.
There are some really challenging and enjoyable attractions nearby, particularly Via Ferrata for the more adventurous, and Flambards Theme Park is a short drive away.
The Maritime Museum is a must-see.
There is also a Station at Falmouth which has a regular train to the historic city of Truro.
Electric vehicle charges have recently been installed.

Fantastic service with host about details of check in & out and many other details about stay.Place is so cosy and relaxing. Plenty short drive to places. We enjoy watching the little lawn mower as so funny when sittin in the garden.We will be back.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Woodpeckers. The house had everything we needed and was well equipped and with a lovely seating area outside. It is set in beautiful, well kept grounds and with handy amenities on the doorstep, including a play area which the kids enjoyed. It was ideally located for us to explore Cornwall and with lovely beaches close by. Karen was a friendly and helpful host who made everything easy for us. We look forward to returning sometime!

Bei den Woodpeckers

Woodpeckers ist ein sehr gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen, dessen tolle Küchenausstattung und gute Lage in dem schönen, sehr ruhigem Feriendorf ,wir sehr genossen haben. Auch den Fitnessraum in der Anlage haben wir gerne genutzt.Die Bar haben wir nicht oft genutzt, essengegen ist dort nur mit Vorreservierung möglich. Man konnte gut zu Fuß zu zwei verschiedenen Stränden laufen, leider zum Teil nur auf der Straße. Vom Haus weg kann man schöne Spaziergänge in die Umgebung machen, nur leider ist es zum Zentrum von Falmouth sehr weit zu Fuß.Wir vermissten einen normalen Radverleih in Falmouth. Es gibt nur teure Ebikes über eine App an bestimmten Haltestellen zu mieten.Es war alles in allem eine erholsame, schöne Zeit in Cornwall, dank auch der so freundlichen. hilfbereiten Mentalität der Menschen dort.

Great stay

Place was well equiped, tidy and the perfect size for us. Location was great. Shame not all the facilities were available due to it being winter, however the kids had fun on the playground.

Superclean house in a pretty location

Visited mid-September. Quiet with just a few people around. The house has everything you need and is comfortable and quite spacious. Attractive outlook. It would be best if you drove slowly on the turn-off to the area due to the narrowness of the approach road.

Excellent accommodation for a family holiday- garden area, tennis courts, small swimming pool and playground. The house had everything we needed and Karen was very quick at responding to emails.

Very nice cottage, well equipped

The stay in Maenporth was awesome. The cottage was cosy and well-equipped. Nice contact to the landlady, the responses to my questions came always within the same day. A broken bench was also replaced within one day.

Geweldig huis, mooie uitvalsbasis voor Cornwall

Prima huis met ruime kamers en voorzien van alle noodzakelijke faciliteiten. Communicatie met eigenaresse is PERFECT! Het vakantiepark is niet heel bijzonder maar het is een mooie uitvalbasis om andere delen van Cornwall te bezoeken. Strand op minder dan een half uur lopen. Het weer zat bij ons niet mee maar dat was dan ook echt de enige klacht.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Haus befindet sich in einer parkähnliche Ferienanlage, die mit Blumenbeeten sehr schön gestaltet ist. Sie ist sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und voll ausgestattet. Das Schwimmbad der Ferienanlage ist sehr klein, aber der Strand, Maenporth beach, ist anderthalb Kilometer entfernt und sowohl per Auto als zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Wandern. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This property is a real gem.

The parkland setting is quiet and well maintained. There are on-site services such as a restaurant, bar and gym if you want them, but our kitchen was so well equipped we ate in most of the time. Our week's stay was trouble-free and we will certainly stay again if we visit the area.

Fabulous!

We stayed in Woodpeckers and I was incredibly surprised at how lovely it was, the online listing didn’t do it justice! The grounds were beautiful and everything was so well maintained. Joshua in the bar was brilliant, so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely break holiday and I would definitely recommend it.

Great family holiday home

From the booking process to the stay itself was so easy to arrange. Any queries answered promptly. House is so comfy, we’ll equipped and furnished with a few extras like body boards, camping chairs, books, dvd’s & games. Perfect location for us visiting beaches we knew we’ll years ago. Lovely house in a fabulous area

Overall, the pictures don't do the house justice. A lovely spacious living room and a kitchen with all equipment needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable (better than my own at home). The location is great with access to several facilities such as a cafe, a small shop and tennis courts etc. The grounds are well maintained and lovely gardens across the grounds great for early morning coffee. Good water pressure from the shower too. If you're looking to leave there is bus access close by, however, a car/taxi is recommended. The host was warm and welcoming with outstanding communication throughout and prior to the stay. Even though we didn't have any issues during our stay if there were any I felt confident they would have been resolved promptly. House was immaculate on arrival and the host was kind enough to leave some fabulous baked bread. We would be definitely staying again in the future.

Perfect short break

Couldn’t fault this property; had a perfect 3 night break, great cottage in a great location. Plenty of room inside for the 3 of us plus also lots of outside space too. Very clean and tidy and extremely well stocked kitchen with lots of crockery, cutlery and other utensils. Would certainly return at some future stage

Cornwall entdecken

Wir haben uns in dem Feriehaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles für Selbstversorgung in guter Qualität vorhanden. Die Hauseigentümer haben bei Nachfragen(weil wir mit den englischen Systemen Anlaufschwierigkeiten hatten) schnell reagiert. Wenn man in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer Stadt wohnen möchte, dann ist es optimal hier.

Perfect Cornish Break!

We spent a delightful few days at Woodpeckers Pendra Loweth. The cottage was perfect for our needs, really tidy, fully equipped and extremely comfortable. A great base for exploring which is exactly what we wanted. Pendra Loweth gardens are beautifully maintained and very quiet with the cottage itself next to a stream - we had a regular heron visitor! Great location for walking with several really picturesque beaches nearby all suited for swimming. Saw lots of people kayaking and paddle boarding so will give this a go next time. Also within walking distance were the sub-tropical gardens of Glendurgan (NT) and Trebah - again highly recommend this as a day activity. Can't fault the hosts who were very responsive and thoughtful extras such as the welcome pack made us feel instantly at home. The on site amenities including a good bar and restaurant when we didn't fancy to traveling far. All in all, exceptional good value for money and thoroughly recommended. Will be returning to the lovely house again for longer next time to explore this gorgeous area and the Lizard Peninsula some more.

The location is nice. The only issue is with hot water as we have to use the booster to heat water. Economy 7 was not working.
