A perfect getaway awaits you and your family or friends at The River House! Begin your river front vacation at this 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home located just 20 min from WI Dells. This spacious 3/4 acre lot is right on the sandy shores of the Wisconsin River. 31' Trailer in back (private) has deck that can be used by renters of the house.

Enjoy breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets on the river, and a sandy beach that's safe and shallow for kids to swim in. Bring your own tubes to float down the river, or drive 4 miles South to Point Bluff Resort to rent a tubing package from them.
Bring your boat, kayaks, or canoe to launch at Dan's Dam Bait Shop and Castle Rock Dam- which is only 2.6 miles north of the property, and float the scenic shores down to The River House. You can also bring your boat/pontoon/wave runners to Castle Rock Lake which is 5 miles North and spend the day boating on the lake!
Sportsmen's paradise with great fishing and hunting with plenty of accessible public lakes and land. Or just fish the river, hike the Quincy Bluff, visit the Dells, shop the Adams Flea Market, or just chill down by the river by day. At night, relax around the cement fire pit roasting s'mores and stargazing!

Wisconsin Dells Racetrack is 15 miles away. Bring your trailer and race car as property is large enough to maneuver and park.
Automotion car show in the Dells the weekend before Memorial Day is always a big attraction.
There is an outdoor drive in theater just outside the Dells area for families to enjoy.
Golfing at Northern Bay Resort or MoundView Golf Course
Popular Restaurants in area: Carlson's Rustic Ridge and Costa Ricky's, Dellwood Pavillion, Splash, DJs Bar and Grill, Lucky 13 Bar and Grill to name a few.

Awesome river space on a busy road

Awesome space for a family with children. We had a blast in the yard and swimming, playing and fishing by the river. Easy access to Dells.

Great for a relaxing vacation!

Great location for a peaceful quiet vacation. Being right on the river is a treat. The house is close enough to the Dells to make a day trip easy to do. He is a friendly host who met us upon arrival. He made sure we knew about the house and the area. We are already planning our trip back next summer!

Cute House on Shallow River

I was planning a trip with my mother. We wanted something with nearby activities & food, but private swimming and the ability to cook/grill ourselves. This property was perfect for that. The river was shallow and clean, the beach was amazing. Very quiet most of the trip. Saturday we saw some of the neighbors and people paddle boarding or floating on the river but nothing loud enough to disturb us. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, after a trip to a local meat market and Festival foods, I made a beef Wellington with fresh beef. We ate out at a few local restaurants, which were all good. We also went to a few local flea markets and antique shops, went over to see ship rock, everything was within 20-30 miles, including the Dells. The property had good WiFi and we were able to stream Netflix ect. We did a 1000 piece puzzle on the large dining room table, and found dice and cards to play rummy and dice with. I'm so thankful I found this property for rent, it was perfect for my mother and I. We will be booking again next year.

Perfect Location

Bill has a gem! He met us at check-in and walked us through the property. The house was clean, fully stocked, and cool (it was HOT outside!). My daughters would have lived down at the (private!) beach if we let them. The water was warm and not too deep. The location was perfect! We got to the Dells in under 30 minutes to spend a day there with the kids. There is a small town (Lyndon Station) about 15 minutes away that has about 5 bars/restaurants. The food and people there were awesome! I sincerely hope Bill continues to share his place because we would LOVE to come back next summer!

My friends and i had an amazing weekend at this property. there are tons of beds which makes it a great place for a group of friends. the patio off the camper has great views of the private beach and the river. the water is warm and great for swimming. there is also an open area that we used to throw the frisbee and football and would be great for other games too. very easy checking and very attentive communication with Bill, the property owner. we had a great time at this VRBO!
