Sunset Cottage at Lazy Days on the Manitowish Chain

The Sunset is a 4 bedroom/3 bath cottage - one of 4 homes at this resort style property with 200 feet of frontage on the beautiful Manitowish Chain of lakes.  The Sunset has a light, airy cottage vibe with calming greens, blues and neutral tones throughout. The sunny yellow door welcomes you to your oasis for the week where you will love grabbing a beverage, sitting in the porch and enjoying the most relaxing view of the water available on the property. Relax and unwind in your "happy place" as the sun sets and take it all in.  This home has plenty of space to accommodate a group up to 10 people - 4 being twin size bunks that look like mini cottages for an extra fun space that kids and adults alike will find it a little magical.



The spacious master suite has a king bed and a walk-in curbless shower with a bench. The other bedroom on the main level has a queen size bed and there is another full bath with tub and shower in case you need a tub for baths. The lower level has the bunk room, another queen bedroom, another full bath with a shower and a huge rec room/lounge area with theater seating and a 70" tv. The gourmet kitchen comes fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you might need to make a feast, a dishwasher to help you clean up and it has a giant granite island with 5 stools. While the adjacent dining room has seating for 8 more. The wrap around porch with lounging outdoor furniture is a very spacious place to relax or roll out your mat and do your morning yoga with the water floating by.



Hop on one of the complimentary kayaks (2 included), rent a pontoon from us or bring your own. You will love this cabin and enjoying a chain of water that you can explore for days.



Even though this cottage is on a resort style property, great care and planning has gone into making private separate outdoor spaces for each home so that everyone is sure to have their own space and a wonderful time!

Fall wedding weekend stay

Perfect location for our stay in manitowish waters. No disappointment at all. Clean, fresh, very comfortable beds. Great docks with easy path back to house. Great communication prior to our stay too. Thank you.

Fantastic!

My family and I have been coming to the Northwoods for years and would put this place in the top of the list of homes we've rented. Angela was terrific to communicate with and the house had every amenity you could ask for.

Fun snowmobile weekend.

We came to snowmobile with friends for the weekend and loved the layout of this beautifully decorated house. It also has easy access to snowmobile trails, although if the houses were all full, trailer parking could be a little tight, but we had no problem this weekend. Communication was top notch prior to check in & hosts answered any questions we had very quickly during our stay. The only thing I would caution is, if you have all adults in your group, the twin beds are kid size rather than normal twin size bunks, It's not comfortable for adults, but other than that the house has tons of room and anything you could need for a terrific stay! It was also fun to watch the deer walking through the property. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to enjoy evenings in the summer on the enclosed patio! We definitely enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

Wonderful post-Christmas get-away

This house was beautiful and perfect for our three families with 4 kids for a post Christmas Northwoods holiday get together. A definite winter wonderland. The amenities were as described and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be to sit on the dock or around the campfire in warmer months. The house was nicely decorated for the holidays and made us feel right at home. Note that there are limited supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, ect) provided. This was all accurately shared prior to check-in, however I failed to read it closely enough and we wound up making a couple trips to the store. Just plan ahead for these items if you have several people staying multiple nights. We had a wonderful stay and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely look into staying again!

Great Location

Our family group of 10 spent a great weekend at this property. The house and location are beautiful, right on the lake. Being able to rent a pontoon right outside our door was definitely a plus. Angela was so responsive to our many questions. The only downside for us was the size of the bunk beds. My niece's 20 something girls didn't fit as these are definitely made for young kids. Not a big deal as they slept on the couches but something to know if you book this property. Overall, a great stay in a great house. We hope to make this an annual event and will stay here again. Thanks so much.

North woods experience without compromise

Our stay in the Sunset Cottage was great. Pictures were a good representation yet even better in person. Nice mix of lake house decor with top notch furnishings and amenities. The screened-in porch and fire pit area were great spots for relaxation and night time bonding with our college age sons. The resort’s layout of cabins provided privacy and the landscaping was an unexpected touch in the north woods. Being steps from the water and renting a pontoon boat topped off the experience. The owners were easy to work with and put a lot of thought and TLC into the property and amenities. Highly recommend.

Sunset cottage at Lazy Days was a dream getaway

Sunset cottage at Lazy Days on the Manitowish Waters chain is absolutely amazing! The new cabin is impeccably clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We had all of the amenities needed for the perfect getaway in the Northwoods. It is a perfect location on a quiet channel. We enjoyed movies in the theater room with stadium recliner seating, DISH network, naps on the covered patio and fires in the fully landscaped backyard. The boat dock was great and can easily accommodate 21+ fishing or ski boat. The owner was wonderful, very responsive and provided instructions and recommendations on local activities and dining. I can’t wait for our next trip and highly recommend to anyone considering a stay up north. Great for couples and families!

Simply Wonderful

I almost hate to give this review selfishly wanting to keep this gem secret but in all fairness I have to say it was one of the best properties we have stayed at on the Manitowish chain. The home is clean, comfortable and well supplied with dishes , a charcoal grill and cookware. The location is great with good views from the beautiful screen porch of passing boats on the channel. The boat dock was just steps from the house and provided easy docking for our boat. We hope to return next year for two weeks.

Great vacation rental!

We loved our week at this cottage. Everything was as listed in the rental description and more. The kitchen is well stocked, and the interior is clean and thoughtfully decorated. The kids loved sleeping in the little house bunk beds. I really appreciated that someone thought to put outlet covers in the kids’ room. Swimming, kayaking and fishing off the dock was the highlight of the week. The big screened porch was a great place to relax at night. We will definitely be back next summer.

Being on the Chain, with your own dock, gives you access to some of the best and most desirable water in Northern WI. We have built the cottages with much thought into making everyone's stay extremely comfortable, beautiful and peaceful.
