The Cabin - The Hot Tub is Ready! Get Cozy Time!!

Super cozy cabin located on our private property. Enjoy the private pergola patio! Dine outside after preparing your meals on the Blackstone griddle grill, enjoy sitting on the rockers while watching the deer cross the lower field, swing in the hammocks AND relax in the hot tub under the starry sky! This cabin has all the amenities of home in approximately 400 sf with an amazing amount of storage. It has a full bath and kitchen. The sofa folds out to a queen size sleeper with two toppers for extra comfort. There are bedding options for additional quests (max 2) that can sleep on the platform bed(s) The space is totally adequate for 2 but could fit 4. We have either a twin, full or queen option for you to choose from. During the day, visit the local attractions and come back to The Cabin to chill in the evenings! Located on a quiet county road, this cabin has farmhouse charm. Rock into tranquil comfort on the front porch. On cool nights snuggle up by the gas firepit table out back. The property is just minutes from Hanging Rock State Park. There you can hike, fish, mountain bike, kayak or canoe the day away. You could also tour the Yadkin Valley wineries for a fun day trip. Well within an hour you could be in Mayberry, the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Old Salem or Pilot Mountain. The backyard is spacious for playing yard golf, darts, disk golf or corn hole. If you bring your bike or kayak, you can store it in the barn. But the real charm of this place is the quiet retreat of a place to rest at the end of fun packed day.

EV Charger Note -There is a dedicated 50 amp plug for your vehicle. You can charge your car if you have a 4-prong cord to plug in. It works great for a Tesla! This is the only vehicle this has been tested with thus far. Please send me a message for more details!

Do we have to leave?

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the cabin. Comfortable and conveniently laid out, the back porch is relaxation at its max. We saw 6 deer out back, hummingbirds and felt totally relaxed. We truly didn't want to leave.

Absolutely perfect

We were looking for a perfect place for a weekend getaway and did we ever find it. As soon as we walked in we were absolutely blown away by how cozy and cute the cabin was. The owner Katie is super friendly and she made check in and check out so easy. We highly recommend staying here and hope to do so ourselves again very soon.

Relaxing trip

The cabin was everything we dreamed of and more! The home itself is so well kept with personal touches to make you feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful and there is always something to do to keep you outside! Katie was a fantastic host with great recommendations for places to adventure to in the area! BEST Cabin!

The Cabin was an amazing break from being at home. Walking in for the first time, Christmas music was playing and lamps were lit, Christmas decorations inside and out. All of this added to the cozy atmosphere. Katie is an experienced and gracious host, you almost feel like you are staying at a friends or relatives cabin instead of a rental. The amenities were great, naps taken in the hammock, breakfast cooked on the blackstone grill, sitting by the fire at night. The hot tube was huge but we did not get to enjoy it this time due to my recovery from a recent surgery. When we come back we will definitely spend time in it soaking. I would give it more than five starts if I could. Beautiful property to enjoy, relax, and renew yourself. Katie was also very sweet with our pug, she is an animal lover herself. Thank you and we will be back!

Weekend getaway

My husband and I of 20+ years were looking for a weekend getaway, to escape the business of work and a house of teenagers, and we found it here. Katie, the host, was extremely kind and hospitable. The cabin is warm, cozy, and very well stocked. The hot tub is great, especially after a long day of hiking at the nearby Hanging Rock State Park. If you come, partake of John Browns local store for snacks and take out. Great place! Overall, loved it. Would highly recommend to any couple looking to getaway for a few days.

Cozy and unique cabin

We went hiking to see the waterfalls at Hanging Rock before we arrived on Friday and enjoyed relaxing our tired muscles in the hot tub every chance we got. Loved the winery in Pilot mountain and enjoyed some pizza from Little Italy in King. The rain didn't stop us from enjoying the hot tub and solitude of the cabin. Katie was very helpful each day making sure we were enjoying our stay. We cleaned up before we left as we like to do. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!! We will return !

Hospitality Perfection

The reviews were so positive that I wondered if it could be true ... and now that I've spent 4 days at TeddyFarms, I can definitively state that the reviews are absolutely true - and more. This property is a haven from urban life, where you enjoy nature, comfortable cozy housing, a hot tub, rocking chairs, a flat grill to cook outdoors, games, cooking supplies, luxurious personal care items and toiletries, and delicious snacks .... in a loving and nurturing environment. The property is on a well, so the drinking water was delicious. The kitchen is fully equipped down to cookie sheets, coffee pot, and a toaster. The stove and oven are full sized, and there is also a microwave and full set of pots and cooking accessories. The indoor space is cozy, and the outdoor spaces were expansive. You could sit on the front porch, swing under a big tree, or rock on the back deck to watch the deer, birds, and other wildlife that the host feeds daily to attract them to the property. Honestly, the host thought of just about everything. This was the most accommodating and nurturing place I have ever stayed - and I have stayed in some high end hotels and have gone on a cruise. None of those experiences were more nurturing or accommodating than my stay at Teddy Farms in King, NC.

Beautiful Property

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful as well as the cabin. The hosts thought of everything. Communication was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them and their furbabies!! We enjoyed Hanging Rock State Park, some of the local wineries as well as restaurants and local shops. All recommended by the hosts. We will definitely come back to stay!!

Best Cabin!

The Cabin at Tedder Farm was a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. It’s 10 minutes to Hanging Rock State Park which has ample hiking trails and water falls. We enjoyed exploring and relaxing in the cabin. Our dog might have enjoyed the cabin more than us ;). Katie prepared the cabin perfectly! We can’t wait to stay again.

All the comforts of home, plus more!

From the moment we walked into the cabin, we felt at home and relaxed. It's been a few days since we left and we still find ourselves talking about the little details that made such an impact. From the music playing as we walked in, to the dog bed, bowls and treats put out for our fur babies (Khrono & Helix loved finding the little treats placed out), to having plenty of towels for our stay (including enough extra towels for the hot tub). It was nice having access to the Blackstone grill, we made breakfast on it and enjoyed the patio with coffee each morning watching the many deer that come out of the woodline. The hot tub was very much needed after a day of hiking through Hanging Rock. The kitchen was well stocked with pantry essentials to make food. There's plenty to do around the cabin with access to darts, ladder ball, disk golf and hammocks. Our dogs enjoyed bouncing around the open fields and taking short walks to explore. Katie and Steve were wonderful hosts and we thank them for allowing us to stay in the little cabin! We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan on staying again when we go back to hike through Pilot Mtn.

Incredible place to relax!!!

Wonderful place to stay! It was an unexpected pleasure. The cabin, its location and the amenities were created with simple luxury, class and quality. We were simply in awe of our relaxing weekend. We could feel the love, charm and pride by the owners. We will return and feel at home away from home.

Slice of heaven (and doggy camp)

From the minute we booked our stay, I knew this was going to be amazing. Katie, the hostess, keeps every part of the cabin and property pristine. We went to unwind from our busy city lives, and unplugging in the mountains on Tedder Farm was the perfect place to go. Katie made sure our fur baby had everything he needed for our weekend as well. The property was perfect for him to relax along with us.

Our rentals are located on the family land we call Tedderfarm. The land was once a working chicken and tobacco farm. Now we just grow grass. The Cabin was originally built in the late 40's. It has always belonged in the family. We completely renovated it about 10 years ago to serve as a guest house for family.
My husband and I are both retired. We spend most every nice day outside working around the property. We live on the same quiet county road. We personally manage and maintain the properties.

The Cabin is located on over 40 acres of family owned property. We maintain all of it. Our home is located at the very end of the road with all our rentals just a short walk away. This tiny home lends a very warm, comfy, cozy vibe. Enjoy the quiet nights star gazing and listening to the crickets and tree frogs.

What makes this area so inviting is the location. You can
1. Be at the top mountains within minutes
2. Spend hours tubing on nearby rivers.
3. Visit historical landmarks here in Stokes County or all neighboring counties
4. Go for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway
5. Tour local wineries and vineyards
6. Shop at one of the largest malls in NC within 30 minuets

We have two other homes that we rent to traveling professionals for approximate 90 day stays. Both homes have recently been updated and are fully furnished. If you need more room than The Cabin can accommodate, check out the availability of The B's Nest or The Eggscape.
We are located in the country community of Quaker Gap outside of King, NC. While we may be a bit farther from city life than some places, no other can compare to the serenity you will have at a Tedderfarm home.

What makes our properties unique is that they are all part of our property within a very short walking distance right from each other. So if you are traveling for vacation with extended family or friends, you could possibly rent both homes and The Cabin. Please check our other listings for The Eggscape and The B's Nest. When our world returns to "normal" we will once again consider hosting events on the property. In the past, we have hosted weddings, receptions, graduation parties, baby showers and birthday parties. . However you choose to stay, you are sure to find life at Tedderfarm is relaxing (yet never boring) but also fun and entertaining without the hassle.
