Experience Pilot Mountain and its surroundings from this quaint 1-bedroom cottage in the shade of the pecan trees. The cozy space features a comfortable queen bed, a day bed that can provide additional sleeping arrangement, a well-equipped bathroom with recently refurbished walk-in shower, and all the essentials you need for a fantastic stay. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Pilot Mountain and our cottage has to offer. Alternatively, choose one of the hikes around the Big Knob of Pilot Mountain, or visit and take a stroll up Hanging Rock.
What about visiting the several vineyards of the area. Others may choose a leisurely walk though Main Street to visit the Country Store or the large antique store. Don't forget our Mayfest celebrations during Mother's Day weekend. An Andy Griffith show fan? The annual Mayberry Days are held in nearby Mount Airy (about 12 miles away); this year (2026) from Sept. 21 - 27. View the fall colors in our area and visit Autumn Leaves Festival in Mount Airy from Oct. 9 - 11.
Access to the cottage is simple through a key-less number lock; the code will be provided prior to your arrival.

Mary and Bert were wonderful host. Very friendly and accommodating. The Cottage was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Cozy and inviting

Excellent and generous hosts. A cozy stay near our hiking expeditions to Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock. Mary and Bert are wonderful hosts.

The sweetest little place.Mary and Burt were amazing hosts.It is close to everything.We had a wonderful time sitting by the fire pit at night!!Highly recommend this sweet little couples retreat!!!
