If you're looking for a classic, comfy, and family-friendly getaway, check out this charming home. This retreat features an open floor plan made up of a well-equipped full kitchen, a dining table with seating for four, and an inviting living area with plush furniture, cable-equipped TV, and a warming fireplace for those chilly winter nights. Off of the main living area, you'll find the two bedrooms. The queen bedroom has its own TV for you to wind down in your own space. The private washer/dryer will take care of the clothes from the day so you can relax and recharge. If you don't feel like heading inside come evening, fire up the gas grill for a cookout in the fresh air or sip a glass of wine on the front porch as the sun goes down. Guests will also enjoy access to the local golf course and shared pool.

This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Perfect mini trip

Loved my stay at Appletree. The house is exactly like the photos. Super comfortable and convenient. Perfect for me and my dog. Land Harbor is great for walking. Can’t wait to go back with my husband. Thank you for a perfect trip.

Cute house with a few challenges

Check in easy-10 day stay; cute house with accommodations perfect for the two of us; TV is Roku streaming; wasn’t sure about where to dump the garbage, so took it to the local garbage dump; gas logs were not working-called Vacasa (mgmt company) maintenance fixed problem the same day but gas logs would not light 2 days later, called Vacasa -maintenance never showed up; House could have been cleaner; quiet neighborhood & house close to all we needed! Might consider staying here again. BTW-house has a tiny size combination washer & dryer not what is shown in the Vrbo pictures of the house.

Long weekend getaway

Appletree is a nice little cottage. It had everything we needed for the 4 of us for a long weekend. My only negatives are carpets in the main bedroom had quite a few stains on it and the a/c didn’t work.

Cute!

Lovely little home. Very close neighbors, close to many mountain attractions! If you plan to use the fireplace ensure with the rental company we'll in advance that it's ready for use. Beds are comfortable! Everything was as pictured. Nice that it's pet friendly.

Short weekend getaway

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Very cozy little home. Super easy check in. Property manager communicates exceedingly well. We learned a lot about the area while there. Homes in this neighborhood are packed really tight together. Also parking two cars there would have been really tight. Other than parking the place was great. Would recommend.

Quiet stay

The property was clean when we arrived and a great location - 15 minutes to Sugar Mountain with coffee shop and restaurants close by. It was a nice stay with plenty of space for our family of 3, plus our dog. We'll be back!

Hallmark Christmas movie

The house is just like the pictures, it’s beautiful, peaceful, very cozy in a great neighborhood. Everything was very clean and organized. I enjoyed my coffee outside watching my little dogs playing in the backyard. The location is great, we visited Linville Falls, Blowing Rock, drove through the Blue Ridge Parkway. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy another wonderful weekend in the mountains.

Perfect!

We loved the house! It’s not huge but it was the perfect size for us. It was really conveniently located for a variety of activities (skiing was about 30 mins away, visit to the cavern was 20, etc). Lots of great local shops and restaurants around. We are already planning our next trip :)

Great family rental!

Very cute home. Major issue with odor from stagnant water in broken washer.Took 6 days to repair.

The home is cute, in a good location and nicely decorated. Had the property manager responded to our concerns, we would have given more stars. The horrible odor permeated the house and prohibited us from using one of the bedrooms. A repair person finally came on the last day of our stay.

Description needs revision

This is a very nice property. However, the description says enclosed yard and I messaged the property managers three times to ask if it was completely enclosed and they assured me it was. IT IS NOT. This was the main reason I selected the property as I have a broken foot and needed to let my dog loose off leash in the yard periodically.
