A small new Cottage Warm all in oak wood and located on the edge of the forest in the rue du Chêne which combines street history in one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia "Lasne".<br>The Cottage is super well equipped and has a small garden.<br> Lasne, a veritable green setting, a paradise for walkers and all nature lovers, is located next to Waterloo and at the gates of Brussels.<br><br>Spend a weekend, a week, a month in Lasne! It's a bit like going back in time and immersing yourself in an atmosphere that has preserved an exceptional sweetness of life and charm. Come and walk in the fields and woods, have a coffee on a terrace, have dinner with your partner or family, relax in a wellness center (at Lake Genval), practice horseback riding, tennis, golf or mountain biking, or swim for an afternoon in "Renipont Plage" a real beach with a natural freshwater pool with activities such as "Mini yacht club, swimming, slide, petanques, beach volleyball, boat ride and bistro restaurant La Guiguette" or bathe in history because the town of Lasne and its surroundings were also the site of the Battle of Waterloo which saw the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte against his Prussian and British enemies.<br>Even today, two monuments located in Lasne remind us of these battles:<br>the French monument known as the wounded eagle facing the Victor Hugo column;<br>the Prussian monument thus known as the site of the final defeat of Emperor Napoleon I, in 1815. As well as the battlefield, where stands the Lion's Mound, an artificial hill topped by a cast iron lion.
