Certain people can't stop chasing winter. 'Never summer!' they say. You might find them in Portillo, Chile, during August or jet-setting around to the ski mountains in the Northern Hemisphere in February. You can't ever be close enough to the lift for these people. Base layers double as pajamas, alarms go off before the sun rises, and coffee makers are on a timer to minimize the time it takes to get on the hill. Those are the days they live for. For those cold, frozen mornings following winter snowstorms. For the fresh tracks and knee-deep powder. For snowy hair and icy eyelashes.

Cimarron 28 was made for people like these. This condo is steps from the mountain, with mere moments between sitting on your couch and sitting on the chairlift. And who needs more room than that anyway? Everyone knows there's no such thing as friends on a powder day.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Ski shuttle details: There is a free shuttle bus the circles town. It will take you to center of town and the Gondola. The bus stop is on the other side of the river where the plaza meets the bridge.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Chair 7 Telluride

It was a very convenient location for skiing. You walk right down to the chair lift.It is on the 3rd floor. The hot tub is a community hot tub, which I thought unsanitary.It was nice “enough” for the price and convenient with my two boys for skiing. Would I rent it again, probably not, just for a few reasons. If you are on a budget tho and skiing Telluride it’s great!!They need to spend the 200 and buy TVs as the bedroom still had a vhs and didn’t work. The upstairs of the condo is carpet, so if you have allergies I’d say do not rent. Carpet is just another thing I would never have in a rental as it’s not sanity.

Steer clear of this condo!

I am a vacation rental owner with over 130 reviews and a 10/10 rating. I am committed to ensuring that our guests have a fantastic experience. Not the case here. The positive - spacious condo, laid out well for 4 guests. It is attractively appointed, even if dated. The negative - Communication with Vacasa was VERY frustrating and they did nothing to resolve our issues. We asked for a local representative to contact us, but never happened. We were stuck texting a remote Rep/Bot who did not know the property. We requested an early check-in. Clearly, the unit was clean and unoccupied (The open blinds permitted us to see inside). We were told that "the owner does not allow early check-ins." No offer even to leave our luggage in the unit. When we were allowed in, the entry code was wrong (also noted in other reviews). The rep-bot was apologetic but not helpful. We figured it out ourselves. The clicker for the garage was not easily located, and there's no code for the door into the garage nearest to the condo. So you have to walk around to the entrance to the garage. Inside we found a bag of trash, a broken thermometer on the sink, closet door still off the track in twin bedroom, missing blind in master, missing bedskirt on a twin bed (very dusty underneath), closet locked in master so no hanging, and no storage for dry goods in kitchen (pantry locked). No check-out instructions, or information about condo/T-ride. Poor maintenance and lack of concern for guests' experience.

The condo had everything my group of friends needed to enjoy our time in Telluride. The home is quiet, well stocked and close to everything. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful telluride

The location is very nice. Condo is a little run down. No closet in upstairs master. And no window covering in one of upstairs window/door. No smart tv but you really want to be outside anyways.

the condo was clean and well kept in a nice lodge. we were disappointed that the bathroom celing fan was never repaired after we made contact by both text & phone. we were told there would be a partial refund but no one has made contact. TV in master didnt work

Nice place overall

Comfortable place within walking distance to everything. Overall very happy. FYI - the bathroom light and fan upstairs did not work. We were not given the correct code to get in and had to call for assistance. The garage clicker was put in a location that was illogical and took a long time to find - like a Easter egg hunt. I was expected to figure out how to use an industrial trash compactor for the first time in my life while we were trying to check out. Again, despite all that it was still clean and comfortable and convenient.

Great Condo

This is great place for 3-4 guests. The two full bathrooms were great (especially if you have kids!). Having a covered parking space was perfect when it snowed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice Condo Great Views

This is a condo in a great area of telluride town. Close to ski lift and to town as well. It is a very clean property, if dated. There were a few things that needed work. It also does not have a fireplace which is listed in the main description. The management company was great!

Location and views were excellent!

Door locks were a problem at check in but resolved in 2 hours. No upstairs closet for hanging clothes and upstairs bathroom for tub & toilet were to small. Downstairs bedroom should be converted to master and upstairs to second bedroom as it’s hard for us older folks to climb and come down those stairs every time. Upstairs tv never operated properly. We would not stay in this condo again.

Needs work

The hot tub was closed, upstairs bathroom fan didn't work, balcony and outside table were very filthy dirty. Twin beds weren't attached to the headboard so the pillows would fall between the wall and mattress. Twin beds were also not comfortable. We paid top dollar, so we expected more. On the plus side, location, parking and master bed were great.

Great property and location. Noisy neighbors.

Great property, walking distance to almost everything in Telluride. Only complaint I have were neighbors (teenagers) staying up till 1am, yelling and horsing around. My visit was during a warm summer weekend and we opened the windows to keep cool. Then about 11pm the yelling and very loud carousing would begin. Not sure which property they were at. I’d also recommend a couple fans for the summer months.

Great Location

We love the Cimarron location! This unit was very enjoyable for us. The deck outside the master was wonderful and provided the opportunity for bear watching as they crossed the slopes above! We would definitely return to Cimarron and possibly this unit. We had a few disappointments on arrival, but adjusted quickly. It would be nice to have known that there was no closet in the master bedroom...but we were able to use the coat closet downstairs. The owners had provided a portable microwave that worked well, but the one over the stove was broken, thus no vent or light. The toaster needs to be replaced, but toasting in the oven worked well. The internet was out the first three days...but Vacasa was wonderful in working to provide a new router quickly so that the people needing to work were able. I would recommend Cimarron 28 for sure, but would mention to others the few things that might have been improved to make our visit perfect! Many thanks to the owners for allowing us to share their home away from home.

Everything you need!

We loved our stay here! The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect. Right on the river that we could hear from our room, a short walk into town, and a short walk to the gondola to get to mountain village. It was perfect for our group of women and would be perfect for a family as well.

Great location

Ideal location right by chair 7. There is a rental shop and lift ticket window right in the building. Hot tub feels good after skiing. It is a short walk (maybe 2 blocks) to the biggest grocery in Telluride. It is about 4-5 blocks to most restaurants in the main part of town. Property managers brought over a temporary microwave when the built-in microwave had a problem. The condo has a very well appointed kitchen. Would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic ski in ski out condo !

We loved this condo not only for the amazing views we were able to experience but also the close and very easy access to the lift was a plus ! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the town, mountain and condo. We will be coming back next year for sure !
