The Beachhouse is the ultimate beach front retreat summer getaway .The apartment has spectacular sweeping water views overlooking sandy hook beaches. Historic Highlands is truly a unique town that has kept its charm throughout the years . You will enjoy everything that highlands has to offer from top notch restaurants , night life, tiki bars, fishing, biking trails (henry hudson trail) hiking/walking , (Hartshorne woods park) beaches (sandy hook)ews

The space
The Beachhouse consist of four private newly renovated modern apartments and tastefully furnished. The backyard is waterfront with a private beach (shared with other guests) that has a tropical feel with multiple sitting/BBQ areas with fire pits, BBQ smoker, gas grills, gazebo ,water toys, Kayaks, picnic tables, and outdoor shower
The Apartment # 3 features:

1 Bedroom - Queen bed (sheets,pillows,blankets)
2 bedroom - full size bed / twin pull out under bed
1 Bath- (shower gel, bar soap,shampoo,towels,iron,hair dryer)
Kitchen ( fully equipped) staples ( salt,pepper, oil, etc)
dinning table ( seats 4) counter (seats 2)
2 flat screen tv's ( cable tv- netflix)
high speed wifi internet access (throughout the property)

Wonderful location if you’re an active water lover…paddle boards, kayaks etc. Beautiful view of bay!

Great visit

The apartment is very clean and well situated. Walking distance to restaurants. The outdoor porch is wonderful. Street parking is hit or miss but there is a free parking lot a short distance away.

Fantastic host and pleasant stay

Capt Ron was an excellent host. Very friendly, always willing to answer any questions, and has a beautiful place to vacation. Parking is a little tight in the neighborhood, but not terrible. Walking distance to plenty of local restaurants and bars. Nice little beach with plenty of amenities, very well done and tasteful. If planning on using the trundle bed in the second bedroom, it is a very tight fit and you can’t really move around when it is pulled out. Overall, highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

This was my second time at this location and my family and I had a wonderful time. As usual, check-in was super easy and the unit was immaculate and filled with comfy, cozy furniture. Well appointed kitchen with all the gadgets you need to prepare meals. Backyard beach sits right on the bay and was again a huge hit. So nice to wake up and see the water while making your coffee and breakfast. The property owner is incredibly friendly and has been warm and welcoming both times I've visited. He is super helpful and realy goes out of his way to make sure everything is just right. You can walk to local shops and restaurants. Very close to sandy hook beach...just a short car ride or bike ride away in this quaint little beach town. Will definitely return again next year!

End-of-summer getaway

A very nice place with wonderful water view for a cozy beach getaway. It had everything we needed, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. We had a great vacation and would consider coming back!

Great experience

Very clean, modern comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen, lovely balcony with views of the bay. Private beach with grill, shower. Overall very nice property would come back.

Captain Ron provides a great retreat

The furnishings were perfect for a beach retreat. This property owner takes his job as a host seriously. Would love to come back here again and again and again!!!!!!
