Lakefront corner property with Large screened-in porch lakeside, as well as a wrap-around open porch around the house.
Beautiful 2-acre property boasts 3 bedrooms, an open kitchen, large living room, a bathroom, private deck and floating dock, plus a Louisiana basement!
Property has several sitting areas, multiple fruit and nut trees, a calming natural spring across it, and great fishing.

Relaxing Visit

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful lake view property. Saw Bald Eagles and Osprey. The kids enjoyed their stay riding bikes, throwing sticks in the water and walking on the dirt roads.

4th of July family Outing

The property was beautiful and very peaceful. The house itself was very spacious and welcoming. It slept our family of 6 very comfortably. The only inconvenience we ran into with having 3 kids under 5, was only having one bathroom. The younger kids enjoyed the yard and trampoline and the older kids enjoy the games supplied by the home owners. It was an overall positive stay.

Nice location, great communication

Want to start off by saying the location of property and communication with renters was great. The house itself was fine but not as clean as the other reviewers had found. There were cigarette butts left over from the last renters on back porch, the kitchen area needed to be swept upon entering and the sheets on one of the beds needed to be rewashed due to a stain on the sheets. None of these things would be a huge deal if we hadn’t paid a 150$ cleaning fee charge upon booking.

Secluded on The Bend

The drive on the back roads to the property was beautiful. It is VERY secluded and quiet. Upon arrival, noticed random "things" out in the yard that would look nice if they were put away in a building or moved off of the property. It's the first thing noticed when arriving. Aside from that, there is plenty of space for several people! The back patio is a great bonus! The home is on a small canal. We enjoyed watching bow fisherman make their way into the canal, late night, and catch! Orchard on the property was pretty cool too!

Toledo Bend Getaway

If you are looking for a place to getaway, this is a great option! The house is very spacious (we had 9 people and plenty of room). Enjoyed fishing and swimming! We will definitely go back!

Quiet and comfortable.

Property was in a very quiet and scenic area. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors. The house was charming, clean, and comfortable. We had 7 adults, a teenager, and an infant; but never felt crowded. The host was very responsive by email and phone to answer all out questions. We hope we can return when the weather is warmer.

Peaceful paradise
