In the quiet, unspoilt Abatilles district of Arcachon, you can set down your bags for a dream holiday with family or friends at Villa Comète, right in the heart of the pine forest, with its spacious, sunny terrace overlooking the heated swimming pool (May to end September), and set off to discover all the wonders of the Bay!
The swimming pool and terrace were completely refurbished in 2026.
With a surface area of 140 m², the house can comfortably accommodate 8 people.

Designed over 3 levels, including a fully-equipped summer kitchen at pool level, each floor has been designed so that everyone can relax and make the most of their holiday!

Here's what Villa Comète has to offer:

Ground floor
- Swimming pool with terrace, fully equipped summer kitchen, everything you need to avoid going upstairs to the kitchen!
- One bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite shower room, shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.

1st floor - living area
- A large 38 m² living room with sitting area, sofa, armchair and TV (please note that the fireplace cannot be used).
- Dining area opening onto an open-plan kitchen with a large work surface, plenty of storage space and all the necessary utensils. Separate cooking area with hob, oven and fridge.
- A utility room with cupboards, kettle, Nespresso, toaster, etc.
- Separate WC on the landing

2nd floor - sleeping area
- One bedroom with queen-size bed opening onto a balcony with table and chairs
- One bedroom with 2 single beds (games, books, small table)
- One bedroom with double bed
- A bathroom with bath and shower screen, heated towel rail and WC
- An office space on the landing, perfect for teleworking!

Outside:
Sunbathe on the sun loungers and relax in the pool and enjoy the small shady garden to the side of the house with garden furniture.
Large dining table with electric awning, large Weber barbecue.
The swimming pool measures 6mx4m. It is protected by an electric curtain. As it is heated, you can swim from May to the end of September.
The summer kitchen is totally designed so that you can enjoy everything at pool level. It comprises a cooking island opening onto the bay window, plenty of storage space, oven, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso, sink and crockery.

Activities :
Ideally located, you'll enjoy all the city has to offer. Discover the spectacular Ville d'Hiver district, with its superb turn-of-the-century houses, park and belvedere offering a breathtaking view of the Basin!
Treat yourself to an oyster tasting session in one of the oyster-farming harbours on the Bassin, preferring the harbours of La Teste and Gujan, or the Arcachon market.
If you fancy taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty to Cap Ferret, Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées!
Take a trip down the Leyre to the Le Teich ornithological park, where you can choose to be accompanied by a guide, or take your kayak out on your own - it's a sublime trip!

- Typical market in La Teste on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday... The market halls, but also many market gardeners outside, organic produce, Pyrenean cheese, preserves, foie gras, shoes, clothes etc., the atmosphere is guaranteed!

- Arcachon Zoo route de Cazaux, a good day out to relax and get away from it all, Aqualand in Gujan

- You can park your car in front of the gates, free parking on the avenue.
- Arcachon train station and town centre 5 minutes away by car (1.5 km)
- Nearest airport: Bordeaux, about 54 minutes by car
- Bus stop 50 m away, bus no. 7
- Beach 1.8 km by road, less than 10 minutes by bike or 15 minutes on foot through the pine forest
- A public playground and basketball court are a 3-minute walk from the house in the pine forest.

Other remarks:
- You will have free wifi access.
- Bed linen and towels included, bath mats and tea towels, of course your beds will be made for your arrival.
- To start your stay, we provide you with a few coffee capsules, different types of tea, sugar, oil, salt, pepper, washing machine and dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and shower gel.
