Welcome to The Kachina TreeHouse! The property is a rustic and modern cabin in the woods walking distance from the national forest and the pumphouse trail! Located in the forested community of Kachina Village yet convenient to downtown and NAU. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, spacious backyard, large game room, and hammocks to relax in the trees after those long days playing in the outdoors. Our property is professionally managed by Tim Allen, West USA Realty Flagstaff.

While this home is not an actual tree house you'll see why we call it the "TreeHouse" when you see this gorgeous treed lot!

The rustic 3 bedroom cabin, with loft, is the perfect Mountain Getaway!

The Kachina TreeHouse is located in the forested neighborhood of Kachina Village, yet just a 15 minute drive from downtown Flagstaff!

The open living area is light and bright with beautiful vaulted ceilings! The gas fireplace heats the home and gives the space an amazing ambiance. There are also baseboard heaters in every bedroom to help banish the chill on cold evenings!

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas 5 burner range and gas oven is perfect for those that like to prepare their own meals during their stay. Just add food and your own unique cooking style!

Each bedroom on the main floor has a comfortable queen sized bed, comfy linens and easy access to the bathroom. A spiral staircase leads up to the loft with a queen bed and 2 double beds!

Follow the spiral staircase downstairs into the game room! You'll find the laundry machines, a pool table, and a number of games to enjoy!

The backyard is spacious with lots to enjoy! You'll find cornhole, hammocks, and even horseshoe! The deck includes a propane grill, seating for 6 comfortably and we supply the propane. Relax on the deck and watch the sunset paint the sky before catching sight of the breathtaking stars!

Other things to note: This home is fully furnished and stocked with essentials to get you started on your trip! Please plan accordingly to purchase enough paper products to last for the duration of your stay.

The Pinball machine is currently not functioning. We hope to have it up and running again soon!

Absolutely no smoking on premises. If cigarettes are found on the property or cleaners detect smoke in the home there will be an automatic $350 charge.

Rental Agreement must be signed after booking is complete - please reach out if you would like to see the Rental Agreement prior to booking the home.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you will need a Pack N Play for your stay.

Bi-Weekly groundskeeping is performed at this home the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.

This was my first Vrbo booking. I originally wanted a log cabin, but couldn't find any options that checked the boxes I wanted them to check. So, I had changed my plans. Last minute, though, I found this cabin and it was IMMEDIATELY worth it. . This was beautiful!Cost: It was far more affordable than any of the cabins or other Vrbo stays I found. I was even able to add an extra night to the trip. The Stay: It was incredibly clean and well prepared for our stay. I was not expecting it to be as well set up as it was. It had everything we needed; I basically could have just packed clothes and shoes. The beds were incredibly warm and comfortable (and no bed bugs!). There were SO many fun games including pool. There was a washer, dryer, grill, deck, and an entire house fully furnished and ready to live in. We had zero issues with wifi, water, nor heat (there are space heaters downstairs too!). The neighbors were nice, the location was super convenient between different activities - downtown, national parks, lakes, the highway, gas stations/stores, Sedona, etc. We also had a bunch of animals friends stop by. The Property Owners:PHENOMENAL! Super responsive before, during, and after our stay. They were super pleasant to work with, and helped ensure we were well informed prior to getting to the property. If you're considering staying, BOOK IT! It's very well worth it. We'll definitely look at their other properties, too.

Absolutely beautiful home! Very spacey. The fireplace heater heats up alot! Very warm cozy home. Loved the area. Lots of switches though, it would be nice if they were labeled . Took us a while to find how to turn on/off the light upstairs and how to turn on/off the kitchen light. But overall woulf stay again!

Yes and no.

When we showed up, we quickly realized that there were “droppings” from an animal all over the counter. The light switches in the house is crazy, there are about 50 of them and only about 5 of them work a light. It was HOT. I get that flagstaff gets cold but it was 90 degrees over the weekend and there is no AC or anything in the house besides a small ceiling fan which did nothing. We had to go to Walmart and buy 4 fans just to keep the area cooler. There was barely anything to clean with so I could only wipe the counters and table down with a wet paper towel. The shower… oh my gosh… thankfully I am not more than 180 because it’s TINY. You can barely move in there. Which I dealt with. I understand that’s how the house was built. Which is fine. Overall. We had fun because it was for my husbands birthday. But next time I’m renting a cabin I will not be using this one. We had to many things we had to go buy and figure out ourselves.

Nice place to stay with lots of amenities

We were a group of 4 who wanted a few days out of the 100+ degree heat. Location of the “cabin” was very convenient and well apportioned. We love to cook and having the grill, oven, stove and large fridge really helped facilitate that love. The kitchen had a few extras not normally provided like some spices and coffee, tea and hot chocolate. It also had the towels laid out for each bed. And the shower provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Nice touches. Super simple check in process and good communication!!

Great experience

My family and I stayed here for an extended weekend, and it was amazing! The layout was so fun and we all slept comfortably. The pool table and patio setup is where we spent a lot of our time. The neighborhood is so quiet and only about a 15 minute drive into town which was great. 10/10 recommend staying at this peaceful getaway. We will definitely be booking again!!

The Treehouse was okay. With 5 adults another shower would be nice. It only has 1. We should’ve also took that into consideration. In the month of July w/out AC. Made the loft area really uncomfortable. We had also brought 2 extra fans. The game room is SUPER COOL (temp). Highly recommend bringing air mattresses. One of our daughters slept down there. We were also bummed to find both arcade games not working. We knew pinball would be out Surprised to see Pac-Man was not working. It’s a great cabin for the cooler months.

Weekend Getaway

Great little cabin. Loved having the basement to play pool/relax after the kids went to bed. It had everything we needed. The only two drawbacks was the extra rental agreement outside VRBO seemed excessive and they will send texts but not respond to them. As far as the property goes, the grill was unusable. It reached 900+ degrees when we lit it and caught fire. It probably just needs cleaned. Other than that it only had some minor cosmetic issues.

Great cabin!

We enjoyed the location of this rustic cabin. There were a few minor item not in order but it didn’t affect our trip (coffee maker didn’t work, burnt out light bulbs). Would stay again.

Great location and property

Beautiful log cabin sat amongst Ponderosa pines. Just two of us stayed but would accommodate two couples with a couple few kids each. Enjoy your stay. We did.

Loved the Kachina Tree House

We had a great stay at the Kachina Tree House. We really enjoyed sitting out on back deck amongst the trees in the morning having coffee. We definitely recommend this Log Cabin for a great getaway.

Great cabin

We chose this area because we wanted to see a lot of Arizona. This was fairly central for our plans. It is a very nice cabin. I was a little concerned at first about no air conditioner, but it wasn’t a problem. Cabin is nice and cool. Managers answered all questions.
