Minimal and fresh, our newly remodeled (2017) home was designed and furnished with simplicity and peacefulness in mind. The decor is a thoughtful mix of vintage and modern. The bright interior and impeccable cleanliness will leave you with a sense of calm. The grassy, tree covered backyard is surrounded by a privacy fence and contains a fire pit and 4 outdoor chairs.

The home is located on a quiet neighborhood street with easy access (about a 12 minute walk) to the heart of Main St. The space and extras are designed to set a back drop for a life of adventure and inspiration. Cook an exotic meal for friends in the well appointed kitchen. Without the clutter of everyday existence, you can nestle in and start that novel. Cozy up with a cup of local coffee or pick from a great selection of tea. The Tuft and Needle memory foam mattresses and down alternative pillows will leave you refreshed for a day of wine touring or hiking Enchanted Rock. End your day around the easy to light backyard fire pit.

It was a short walk to Main St. Very clean and cozy. The host left some coffee bread and supplies for smores which was very kind of them. The neighborhood felt safe for 4 women staying alone.

Great place to stay. Cute house, beds were comfy, nice backyard patio to drink coffee. Close to town. It is about .5 mile to Main Street. Easy walk but there are were not sidewalks the whole way. Definitely would stay again!! Thanks so much!!

Perfect Stay

This was very easy to settle right into. We had most everything we needed for our week long stay in Fredericksburg. It was a reasonable walk into town in the evenings. Nice touches made me fe my dog was welcome .

Perfect for a short get away with dogs

House was bigger than expected. Great location and clean. My husband and I took our 2 dogs (30 and 50lb). The back yard was safe and completely fenced in. The neighborhood great for walking and easy to walk to downtown. We would stay here again.

Wonderful property

I stayed at this property for a month with my fiance and neither of us wanted to leave! Not only was the house itself lovely but the neighborhood was so quiet, peaceful, and safe. The owner was also incredibly responsive with any questions and made me feel very welcome. I would recommend this home to anyone I know!

Great spot to bring your pets and yourself

When we walked in the house smelled clean. The backyard is perfect for pets and having outdoor fires. It's just a short drive downtown. There were snacks left out for us (Cake, Smores fixins, fruit) The restaurant recommendations were great. We had a great time, The neighborhood is nice. We will be coming back.

Little House with the Red Door

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabernet! Very clean and comfortable! It's just like the pictures. The backyard was nice for the first evening. It got cold and windy the next evening, so we didn't get to make smores like we hoped. Our little fur baby loved watching the squirrels jumping from tree to tree in the morning! We hope to be back soon!!

Great small house close to main street

We stayed here because we were able to bring our labradoodle in a fixed yard. It was SUCH a cute house. The beds were large in both rooms. We felt so welcome with the gifts on the kitchen counter for us. Everything was clean and easy to find. Check out was clear and *very* easy. We felt safe in the neighborhood and walked to downtown Fredricksburg, the WWII museum, and dinner. There really is not a thing we would change and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great stay! :)

Cozy Stay!!!

We had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg this past weekend thanks to The Cozy Cabernet! The place was spacious, but cozy at the same time. We greatly appreciated the snacks and wine. The kitchen was perfect for us to prepare a light breakfast. Our miniature pinscher absolutely loved the big, fenced yard and we enjoyed making s’mores on the fire pit. House is located in a quiet neighborhood, but close to Main Street. We did not have a problem walking a few blocks. 100% recommended!

The home was well located off of llanos Street, which heads into town. The home was cutely decorated with all amenities. She even had fresh fruit and pastries waiting for us. If we had brought our dog, it would have had a great place to hang out in the back yard.
