Amazing panoramic Smoky Mountain View. Newly renovated cabin with oak floors and 146 inch 3 panel glass doors. Relax on leather reclining coach or sit on one of two Lazy Boy recliners. New granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Master bedroom has comfortable king bed. Listen to stream of water through French doors that open to 6 person Jacuzzi with 84 jets that has view of Smokey Mountains. Bird watchers dream sanctuary with squirrels, rabbits, and wild turkeys. 20 minutes to Cherokee, NC Harrah’s Casino, Western Carolina University and Mountain Heritage Day. 15 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway. Easy access to Nantahala George, Bryson City, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley, and Cataloochee Ski resort.

Don’t hesitate to book this place. One guests said, “Having driven the scenic route through the Cherokee National forest, Smokey Mountains, and Blue Ridge Parkway- I can tell you that all other scenic overlooks pale in comparison. That alone should be reason enough.

The location is also perfect for day trips to multiple waterfalls (Mingo falls, Soco falls (Clingman’s Dome), and The Biltmore. Other activities include tubing, rafting, kayaking. If you prefer shopping and gambling- there is that too (we passed both up and only stopped for a fry bread fundraiser in Cherokee- which was definitely worth it!)

The kitchen is well stocked with any supplies and spices you need to make many dishes. There is also a gas grill outside. We brought just a few groceries and made pasta with marinara, grilled eggplant, grilled squash, grilled beets, black beans and rice, jackfruit BBQ, quinoa with sautéed onion/pepper, hearty oatmeal (with fruits/nuts),and key lime pie (if you need ideas).

Sit outside at the table with built in fire and enjoy dinner with a magnificent view. Later soak in the lit hot tub or fire pit on a cool evening.

Play board games until you laugh so hard you don’t even remember what you’re laughing it.

Sleep peacefully on a comfy bed- and wake up to another beautiful Mountain View.

Perfect place to recharge, reconnect with loved ones, and forget the worries of your day to day hustle.

Beautiful scenery, excellent firepit, and you can't forget the jacuzzi outside. Although I do wish the jacuzzi was covered by an awning or a pergola so we can sit in it while it's raining.

The road less traveled

We absolutely loved, loved, loved the cabin. It met all of our needs and then some. The beds were so Ben more comfortable than my beds at home. We were worried cabin wouldn’t be warm enough, but the host made sure it was nice and cozy for us when we got there. The rooms were large and spacious and tastefully decorated. I can’t even begin to describe the breathtaking views. Pictures don’t do it justice. Our kids were shocked there was no tv in the main living area, but soon figured out why. We all spent hours sitting, talking, and taking in the view. Every other room of the house had its own large flat screen tv, but no one was interested in watching tv with that view. Our teenaged children enjoyed taking in the views from the hot tub as well. Our Tibet puppy enjoyed the cabin and Mountain View’s as well.We went to the mountains in search of snow, and boy did we find it! Finding the house was easy, but with ice and snow on the ground our poor little 2 wheel drive didn’t make it the final 1/10 of a mile which lead for an impromptu nighttime hike. But it was well worth it! The host offered to come and help us in the morning, but in the daylight we were able to maneuver our way to the top. We definitely want to book again, but will make sure we have 4wheel drive or go when it’s warmer. This place is definitely a must see.

Little slice of paradise!

Our stay at this home was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views – the pictures simply don’t do it justice! Every morning felt like waking up in a dream, surrounded by natural beauty. The home itself has a special charm, cozy and inviting, and it’s clear that the owners put so much thought into every detail. The hosts were incredible – warm, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly made us feel at home, and it’s clear they care deeply about providing an exceptional experience for their guests. This little slice of paradise left us relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable getaway! Side note: They even have supplies of power goes out which we have experience before and some of our rentals and it was nice to see they were prepared for everything!

Amazing view/very clean/great host

Wonderful house with an exceptional view about 10 minutes from downtown Sylva. Very clean. Only drawback, which is not pictured, is the portable AC units in the bedrooms. They may not be there if you visit in cooler weather.

Mountain getaway

This property has the most incredible view!! We sat outside on the deck most of the time we were there. Going up the mountain on the last road to the house was absolutely scary! Was not prepared for that. However going down and returning was much better. We had a clue of where we were going and to not lose momentum going back up. We would definitely stay again.

Top of the Mountain

The pictures tell it all. If you are looking for an Exceptional Smoky Mountain View. This is it! Close to all the attractions of Waynesville and Maggie Valley, but you really won’t want to leave. The house is so comfortable. All the beds were very nice. Pool table is very fun. The bedroom and tv room downstairs were so cute too. Upstairs The swivel chairs will call to you to look out the glass doors at the beautiful view. Great hot tub with a great view too. Nice kitchen for all your cooking needs. Thanks Frank

Birthday trip.

We loved the house. The views did not disappoint. We got up early every morning to watch the sun rise over the mountains. The sunsets were great also. The house is clean and well equipped. I cooked our dinners every night and I had everything I needed. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of hot water for our showers. Definitely bring firewood for the fire pit. A starter bunch of logs were graciously provided, but you will won’t more. We would stay again.

Phenomenal View, Fantastic Stay

This is our second time visiting this property, and we cannot say enough great things about it! We love how convenient the location is to shops, downtown Sylva/Dillsboro, Cherokee, and all the trails/parks. The property is always clean upon arrival plus stocked with anything you may need. Another great perk is that we’re able to bring our dogs who enjoy exploring the yard or soaking up some sunshine with a view on the deck. Frank, the owner, is wonderful and easily communicates with guests about their stay plus is always available to get in touch with. We hope to make many more memories here in the future. Don’t hesitate in booking this property - you won’t regret it!

All new appliances in kitchen. Hot tub was nice & warm. Expansive Mtn views!! He’s been remodeling the home, so he still has things to do, but our stay had everything we needed - holiday time with family was great !

Absolutely Awesome!

Such a great place, lots of little touches that make the trip perfect. Sat and watched the mountains go by for five days. Good Wifi, large TV's in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, awesome yard, you can't see a neighboring house. Will definitely going back.

The Perfect Mountain Getaway

My husband, our dogs, and I traveled up to this amazing property for our 1 Year wedding anniversary. We were welcomed with a sign by the road stating “Welcome Laura & Guests” as well as an anniversary card and jar of Apple Butter. The view was absolutely breathtaking, pictures don’t do it justice. Our dogs got to run around the yard and enjoy themselves too, which made our hearts so happy. The home was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We got so caught up in the tranquility that we would be out all day exploring trails or enjoying the view/property that we only really used our phones at night. We had no issues with WiFi/cellular reception, and the smart TVs were wonderful to enjoy at night for a movie or show to wind down. We were close to town and were able to get around with ease. Frank was so accommodating and checked in periodically, which was so greatly appreciated. This property was a wonderful getaway and was just what we were looking for. If you’re wanting a secluded pet-friendly home with great amenities, fantastic view, and kind owner, look no further! We are already discussing coming back again next year for our 2 Year Anniversary - thank you, Frank!

Breathtaking view!

We absolutely loved our stay at this mountain top home! Everything was amazing! We slept great every night and can’t believe how comfortable the bed and pillows were! We felt right at home and could have easily stayed there for all summer. It was exciting getting up to the property (amazing climb) but we had a Jeep so it made it no problem. The location was awesome and easy to get around and loved the town of Sylva! We were very content with the layout of the home and used the recliners every morning to take in the vast view of the top of the mountains and wild birds and Turkey that came to visit! We will definitely be back to this one if a kind home and the hot tub was truly amazing being in the location with woods and view! Everything was super clean and efficient. Great experience overall!!! Loved every minute there!

Frank, the property manager was extremely helpful as we approached our stay. He willingly arranged for an early check in and was responsive to all and any inquiries. Today we seem used to getting a late or no reply to questions. This was just the opposite. A very enjoyable weekend stay.

Must see views

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Frank’s place. The view is simply spectacular. A very safe and convenient location, just outside of Sylva. Frank is a great guy ( we had the privilege of meeting him ) and extremely prompt in responding to any questions you may have. The kingsize bed in the master is incredibly comfortable, loved the thick and luxurious sheets too. We always travel with our own pillows but the pillows provided are so comfortable, we actually used them instead of our own. Soaking in the hot tub was a great way to end the day after hiking the beautiful, nearby and challenging, Pinnacle Park trails. Great stay, would definitely go back.

Best Mountain views, nature sounds and stars

We came for the mountains and the property didn’t disappoint, everything is as described and the views are amazing as most reviews point out. This is a very private and secure area. The host was great at communicating and entire process booking to check-in and out was seamless. Perfect place for a couple to spend quality time together and enjoy nature.

We enjoy being a host because we feel we have found a magical piece of land that is special because of the amazing view. It doesn't matter what the weather is because it is always changing daily. The birds and wildlife visit the property. Thus, we want to share the experience with guests to the property. We also feel being a host, we take on a responsibility of making everything right.
