Thank you for your review. I am sure staying there during the hurricane or tropical storm that dropped 5 to 12 inches of rain in one day was challenging. Yes, the furnishings may be a bit nice for one with small children but hopefully that will not stop you or others from wanting to come to our house. Sanibel is very nice and is a 45 minute drive. That I can do noting about. I remember your telling me that was your first choice for finding a place to stay but everything was either too expensive or not available. I know that was discouraging. The fountain in the pool was set to come on at 8 am and go off at 6 pm. I agree with you that especially during the summer with daylight hours being longer when is does not get dark until 9 it would be nice to have it on longer. That we will do. Dear Marcel, I am so sorry the house cleaning did not meet your expectations. This is the first tine in over a year of our renting that this has happened. When you called I called the cleaning company when I hung up from talking to you and I was assured it would never happen again. Yes the house is almost 30 years old but it has been well maintained. As you can see from all the other reviews yours is the first negative response since we have been renting. Again, I am sorry the house did not meet up to your expectations.
