Family vacationers, fishermen and duck hunters welcome*** Come and enjoy a memorable family vacation or fishing trip at “The Plain Jane” This Lake Guntersville waterfront home is nestled in the cove between Pine and Preston Island; It’s conveniently located within sight of waterfront boat ramp and close to fishing supply/gas store. The home is located halfway between Scottsboro and Guntersville off highway 79 in a private cul-de-sac.
The Plain Jane is a fully furnished, single level home, with an enclosed garage and private boathouse. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths The enclosed boathouse and dock have deep water all year with bass, bream and catfish.
This newly decorated lake themed home has a master bedroom with a new comfortable king size bed, on suite full bathroom and view of the lake, the other two bedrooms are furnished with a new comfortable queen size bed in each and share an adjoining full bathroom. In addition, a single rollaway bed is also available. The large great room has comfortable couches, an oversize chair with hide away single bed, a 75 inch flat screen Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a lake view. The eat-in kitchen is well stocked with cookware, serving pieces, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, standard coffee maker, electric skillet, electric griddle, crock pot, microwave, stove, oven, and toaster. There is amble counter space, dishwasher, full size refrigerator with ice maker and an additional full size fridge in attached garage. Laundry room has the half bath, washer and dryer. The house is pet friendly up to two pets with a one time deposit of $75, please inquire if you have any questions about the pet policy. Out the lakeside French doors is a large covered porch with rocking chairs overlooking the large flat backyard and lake. Have your coffee or breakfast while looking over the Tennessee River main channel. The morning sunrises framed by the distant mountains are stunning and the fishing is always good! Come and enjoy!

This house is amazing…photos do not tell the whole story of how much room you have and all the amenities. Our family spent Thanksgiving week here and had a wonderful time. Jessica was most responsive and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Lakeview was peaceful. The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen I have ever stayed with. Plenty of pots, pans, skillets, cooking, utensils, bowls, plates, silverware, glasses, and coffee mugs.

Great Lake House

It was great to sit on the porch every morning and take in the beautiful lake view. The fire pit was perfect to sit around and enjoy s'mores. The entire family had a great time. This was the perfect house for our vacation on the lake.

Wonderful holiday on the lake

We came up to spend Christmas with our kids and grandkids and this property was absolutely amazing...it had everything you needed to be comfortable. It was super clean and the view of the lake was amazing. We will be returning next year.

Host truly thought of everything!

Place was super clean and well thought out! Even had robes in closets and an umbrella in the garage! Good communication thru out the entire stay. Super responsive to text and easy to work with! Would stay again anytime and recommend to all my friends!

Great Place

House was awesome!! Owner was great in working to get sports on the TV since it is streaming only!! She thought it was corrected on the site but it still showed cable and satellite. But she added a streaming service for us!! Boat dock was excellant and the fishing was great for November!! Will return!!

Our Favorite Guntersville Home

We love this home. We come every year for a bass tournament as a family. The home is spacious and spotless. The back porch and yard are amazing and we love the boathouse. Kitchen is well stocked and everything works perfectly. The entire process from reservation through checkout is flawless.
