Enjoy ultimate relaxation, island breezes, and the songs of local birds at this lovely home nestled amongst the palms and live oaks that Edisto is so famous for. Chateau Relaxo was designed with guests in mind. Every detail, from the décor to the well-appointed kitchen, will ease your transition onto island time. Spend your days soaking up the sun and searching for shells on the beach, as this home is just a quick walk or bike ride from the Atlantic shore. Relax with your favorite book or cold beverage on the shady screened porch.

The bright interior is beaming with joyful sunlight, providing a lovely reminder that you are at the beach and to savor the peace of your vacation. Internet access and cable TV will keep each group member entertained should a brief afternoon shower interrupt your beach day. Dine alfresco or simply cool off after a long day in the sun on the ground-level patio. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, look no further!

THINGS TO KNOW
Wyndham amenities are available for purchase at the Wyndham Cafe, but there is no guarantee due to limited passes per day. These amenities include access to three pools, tennis courts, gym fitness room, mini golf, playground and beach cabana.
This vacation rental is located in Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. No boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RVs, or golf carts are allowed inside the resort.
All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor Policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 28 years of age to book. Guests under 28 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Summer at Edisto 25

We chose this house because we like to stay in Windham if we're down at Edisto in July or August. More secluded from the crowds, lots of shade, and lots of deer. We really liked this house. Clean, on the top of the hill to catch more breeze, furniture was comfortable and everything worked. Great layout and plenty of space. I would likely stay here again.

We felt right at home on vacation! We had ample space to spread out and when we came together to watch a movie. There was nothing missing in the way of outfitting the place with all kitchen items. We appreciated the shampoo/conditioners/body wash provided in each shower!

Great place, designed for relaxing

Great property, lots of space, well appointed. Nice location at end of a quiet street. Short walk to beach. We bought the Wyndham amenities pass and enjoyed the pools and the cabana at the beach. Lovely vacay!

Nice and peaceful location with convenient access to the bike path and beaches.

The property was great and very spacious. 4 bedrooms was great. Food options on the island were limited based on the timing that we went (end of March), but there was still variety if you didn't want to cook at home. Glad we brought our bikes -- made it easy to check out the island.

Very nice home!

We found the space to be very usable and comfortable. The primary bedroom is quite nice! As others have pointed out, the location is good but the lack of use of the back gate is a little inconvenient. It didn’t keep us from enjoying our 6 day stay at Chateau Relaxo though! We rented bikes and you are able to get out via a foot path. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Peace and quiet

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house had plenty of room and was well equipped (except no dish towels!). The sunsets were lovely and the only issue with the large family of deer was to avoid them while walking the dogs! We were disappointed in not being able to use the nearby gate for comings/goings; instead we had to go all the way out of the community. I would disagree with any reviewer who said it was a short/quick walk to the beach. Since the weather was rainy, it wasn't a big deal to only have 1 day at the beach, but I would have been more frustrated about the proximity.

Clean and comfy meeting place for friends

My friend and I booked so our 2 families stayed and vacationed together. The home was clean and comfy. We put all our girls together in the master because it had the most room. It had a king and twin trundle. The other 3 rooms were very nice but only had full size beds. The kitchen was very well stocked had everything we needed. We cooked all meals in the home. Dishwasher didn't work and was mentioned at check out. There was plenty of room in the kitchen and living area. The neighborhood was pretty and quiett. The walk to the beach was pleasant, yet further than expected based on the descriptionand reviews. After the first day of walking and lugging all our stuff, we wished we'd rented much closer to the beach! We'd recommend bringing or renting bikes. Also it did take awhile to drive back out of the complex to the gate guests were allowed to use. There was a gate close to the home but we weren't allowed to use it. We enjoyed cooking fresh shrimp from the shop across the street from the main gate. We also enjoyed the beach, the serpentarium, and Botany Bay. It was a great vacation and we enjoyed Edisto Beach!

Lovely home in quiet location.

Updated home at the end of a quiet street. We enjoyed sitting on the back screened in porch. We saw several deer while sitting outside. Two story home with steps so make sure you don’t mind having to navigating stairs. Kitchen was a little more well stocked than most places we have stayed. Check in and out was easy with Vacasa.

Great stay, VERY clean

We had an amazing team. We were very impressed by how clean the home was when we arrived. The home was extremely well stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. We also grilled multiple times. We enjoyed seeing all the deer while sitting on the deck and taking our daily walks. Quick bike ride or walk to the beach. Now, we were disappointed with the inability to have a golf cart at this property and the property sits pretty far back in the development.
