Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

They changed rental companies this year and the price went up significantly so we decided to book Island Pony. It did not disappoint! The kitchen was even nicer, the house was very well stocked, and the beach chairs and other items in the garage were a great surprise! The only complaint was that this was the second year in a row that the pool was not operational during our stay. Last year, it didn’t open until the day we were leaving. This year, it was open the first several days (THANK GOODNESS BECAUSE OF THE HEAT!) but the filter wasn’t working. There were people there working on it the last two or three days of our stay. Hopefully, it can be fixed for good before our stay next year because the pool is a big reason we are willing to pay a little bit more for a rental.

A dream come true

We were thrilled with this beautiful vacation rental. Upon opening the door, we immediately were amazed by how clean and immaculate the house was. It is tastefully decorated and looks brand new. We had the perfect set up for my family of four to sleep upstairs and my parents to occupy the first floor bedroom. The kitchen was beautiful with all the amenities that you could need. The landscaping of the property is the perfect compliment to the house. One of our favorite spots was the screened-in that overlooked a quaint back yard with a beautiful race of water which allowed my kiddos to crab, catch fish,and birdwatch. The location couldn’t be more perfect- we could ride bike to memorial park to play and enjoy the views of the lighthouse. The neighborhood is quiet, with friendly owners and renters. We loved having access to the community pool too! We had a fabulous time and feel like we hit the jackpot with this property! We hope to come back next year!

Even though there are “neighbors” in other duplexes on the property, it was very quiet and peaceful. The community pool, sunroom and back patio were also great spots to hang out. They provided a bunch of takeout menus so we had an idea of what to eat on the island along with a binder of other useful information. Management was also super friendly whenever we had a question. My family and I were overall very impressed and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Chincoteague.

I highly recommend staying here!

The house was perfect! We enjoyed staying is this beautiful home. The location was perfect, it was clean, the screened in porch was nice to hang out on and there was also a pool within walking distance. We will be back!
