A great little cottage on Chincoteague. The space was more than enough room and everything was easy. We had a nice view of the water from the sun porch and really enjoyed watching the storms roll in. Would stay again.

The house was very comfortable. I had chosen it especially because of the porches (front and back) and we used them a lot. They gave room for everyone to spread out. Air conditioning was comfortable. A good value. I recommend it!

Quiet and peaceful

We had a great stay. House was clean and in such a quiet area. The screened in back porch was our favorite part! And looking for horses in the morning from the front sun room! Highly recommend! Oh and also the staff, I can't sat enough about them. They were readily available through text during our entire stay. So easy and convenient for questions!

Beach Weekend

The house was a great space for my wife, in-laws, and toddler. The space is open and great for hanging out. Everything was clean and functional. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful area near the water. Property was nice with a quiet neighborhood. House is slightly dated, but the rate is great!

Pretty, clean and and nicely furnished.

This is a pretty cottage with new wood cathedral ceilings. Big bonus is that they supply sheets and towels. It’s a comfortable layout and we used the screened in porch every day. I hate to mention this but we were bothered by a persistent septic kind of smell. We notified management 2 days into the visit and they responded quickly and thoroughly. We invested in a lot of air freshener for the week. I think they did the best they could, given the constraints.

Wonderful place to stay, bring your bug spray.

Our family had a great time while staying at Les Bon Temps. A nice laid-back area to spend a week of vacation. There were plenty of things to do to keep us all happy and a large range of restaurants to eat at. The house itself was clean and well set up. As the subject line says, make sure to bring your bug spray. The mosquitoes were quite active at the time of year we came here. This is not a negative review for the rental at all but just a heads up to other perspective renters.

Nice house

We stayed only for 2 nights, but we enjoyed the house and the Island. The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and had a cabin feel. Loved, loved the outdoor shower...fun. Beds were comfortable. Our only downside was the Bbq pit. Very rusty and no tools to clean it up. But we managed and would definitely recommend or come back sometimes

Quiet get-away

This location is very quiet, off the main roads, but close enough that you can get anywhere quickly. We were only there for a few nights but the house was inviting and relaxing. Great space for 2 adults and 2 kids. The check-in process was seamless. We will definitely be keeping this spot on our list for future visits.

Great place to stay in Chincoteague

First time visiting Chincoteague island. This house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It has a nice layout with a sunroom in the front and a screened in porch in the back. It has plenty of space for a family. I also liked that it had cable tv so we could watch a football game. We enjoyed biking on the island and in the beach at the state park. Chincoteague is a nice place without all the hustle and bustle of the normal beach town.

Very good! But we are "old school" and there were too many remotes (6 maybe) unlabeled in the living room. Took some time to figure which operated tv. Never could get bedroom TV to work with remote.

Eastern shore getaway

Our family of three found the Les Bon Temps to be a comfortable house for a week. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and serving plates, which I really appreciated. The area was quiet for sleeping. Response to a minor maintenance request was very prompt. We could see the lighthouse and shore birds with a short walk from the rental. Getting to any sights on the island was a short drive. The only drawback was that there wasn't a "neighborhood" nearby with any local stores or restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend

Great place, close to the everything, and quiet.

This place is exactly as described. It has all the kitchen things you could need, excellent communication with the owners, and is super quiet at night. We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Nice Home, Great Location

Really enjoyed our stay at this home. Loved the enclosed front porch/sitting room and screened in back porch. Nice kitchen and living room with large sectional. Bedroom sizes were adequate. Having 2 baths was nice. My only negative comment would be with the small size of the hallway bath it would be nice to have some hooks to hang your clothes on while showering. Nice location with the water just across the road. Met the Owner's who were very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Very Please

This was our first time vacationing in Chincoteague and we were very happy with our stay. The house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious enough, clean, and just as described. My favorite part of the house was most definitely the screened in porch. When we weren't shopping or at the beach, that is where I spent most of my time. We will recommend and book again when the time comes.

Perfectly situated walking distance to kayak rentals/ eco tour company. Quiet! Cottage is perfect for 5-6 people.

Cozy little cottage

This is a lovely little property, you can see the water and lighthouse from the sunroom. The screened in back porch and fire pit was lovely. Oh and not to forget the outside shower, perfect to de-sand the little ones before going in. Everything you need is in the kitchen (oh but fyi, no kurig but a regular coffee maker). The living room sofa was so comfy. I have only one complaint, the bed in the master suite was as hard as the floor and the sun came through the top round window at the crack of dawn. And I did not give the check in process 5 stars because I think there could have been a little more flexibility, check in at 4 is late and check out at 10am is early, even hotel chains give a little more time/flexibility.

Fun beach weekend

Home as described. Spacious and comfortable for 6. Loved the screened deck for eating. Had to call maintenance number for minor shower issues and they arrived within 10 minutes… on a Sunday no less. We had a fun time and would stay again!
