Perfect Location

What can you say when you stay in paradise for four weeks. Grounds were beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was hoping for a sunset view from the lanai but settled for view of the pool area. Location of complex was perfect. Really appreciated the beach gear and wagon.

One cannot go wrong with this property. The location of the building complex right in front of the Kamaloe beach. The owners are wonderful people. Clean. Lots of beach toys and supplies!!

They had bogie boards, children’s beach toys, towels, chairs, umbrella—you name it! We didn’t have to rent or buy anything because of this. Good neighborhood to walk to local shops and restaurants. Would stay here again. Thanks.

Relaxing in Kihei

This is a great vacation spot. Excellent location and resort amenities. Close to everything, beaches, restaurant all within walking distance. The place was tastefully decorated and had all you need to enjoy your stay. We strongly recommend it.

This was a beautiful rental! Great location with lots of local eateries within a mile or two. We had no problem Uberering everywhere during our stay. The Kamaole Beach across the street has sea turtles all over! Beautiful view of the pool and peekaboo view of the ocean from the lanai. We would love to come back and visit Kamaole Sands again!

Wonderful stay, would come again

We absolutely loved this place! It was so clean and neat, came with amazing amenities and was pretty much as advertised. (Bear in mind the additional fee you will pay upon check-in and if you have a car, you'll need to register it with the front office.) We really loved the view from the terrace and the property itself. The murphy bed in the living room was extremely comfortable to sleep on all week and easy to put away. We enjoyed the speakers that were available for our phones. TV worked great in both rooms, as did the AC. Take advantage of the laundry in unit! And note that you do need to recycle (on the ground floor). You will need to buy your own drinking water as the apartment did not appear to come with any, but ice was available, which was helpful. The apartment is sort of an uphill trek from the beach/main road on foot, but the grounds are so stunning as long as you avoid peak sun hours it's pleasant. If you have a car, it's a lot more convenient to drive through the side gate and park right by the unit. But Kihei is still doable on foot. Would love to stay here the next time we're in Maui!

Beautiful spot!

Very nice vacation rental. Clean, easy to access, the lanai overlooks nicely kept resort grounds. This unit had the best complement of beach gear out of several at which we have stayed. Definitely recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay. It has quick access to the beach and a couple of really good local restaurants within walking distance. We found the pool to be very nice and clean and the concierge service with the presentation was great. Marc helped us plan some activities and we enjoyed finding out all the activities available. We would gladly return to this location!

Dissappointed with condo Kamaole Sands

The condo was dirty, carpet in living room, throw rug in kitchen filthy top and bottom and backing coming off, tile floors, some dishes and flatware, handle on sliding door needs repair, sheets on bed worn, so thin that the bottom sheet was torn in two places, picture fell off wall and woke us up. The picture hanger had been repaired with tape at some point but the tape looks old like it had been there for a long time. The toilets, oven, stove, refrigerator, and microwave were all clean. I scrubbed the tile floor around the rugs and the water was black and sandy. I have pictures of some issues but not the dirty scrub water. Over all a very disappointing stay in the condo.

Property had everything needed to enjoy relaxing vaca

We vacation on Maui at least twice a year and always stay in Kihei. The condo was clean and had everything you need including chairs, towels and boogie boards which is a plus because renting them can get expensive. We typically eat breakfast and dinner in and the condo had everything I needed kitchen wise to make this happen. The property was quiet with clean amenities, right across from the beach and close to restaurants. All and all enjoyed our stay.

a gorgeous unit. with everything you can possibly need provided. safe for food and drinks. Location kept it from getting to warm and on the end meant no traffic back and forth. Roy and Audrey have a long-time connection to Maui. Audrey was born and raised on Maui (she's a third generation Mauian), and our family has frequently vacationed on Maui over the years (visiting with family, enjoying the many recreational activities that Maui has to offer, and just relaxing). Maui is a special place to our whole family, which is why we've returned here frequently. We live in Boulder County in Colorado, near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Roy is an atmospheric scientist.

Kamaole Beach Park III is one of our family's favorite beaches for swimming and boogie boarding. So when we were looking for a place to stay in Kihei during past vacations, we stayed at Kamaole Sands because it is across the street from Kamaole Beach III. We decided to purchase a condo at Kamaole Sands because from our previous stays, we liked the beautiful landscaping and amenities (pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and BBQs) that give it a resort-like atmosphere, but with a laid-back feeling of aloha and welcome. Besides this, Kamaole Sands is the perfect location for us, provides the convenience of kitchen and laundry facilities in the condo, the beautiful grounds make you feel like you're on vacation, and additional amenities all add up to the kind of vacation that our family enjoys.

We provide our guests with additional amenities like: a small ice chest for bringing lunch or refreshments with you on sightseeing trips or to the beach. We also provide beach chairs, beach mats, beach umbrellas, beach towels and boogie boards to enhance your vacation and enjoyment at the beach. And for our guests' relaxation while in the condo, there are books, games, and puzzles.

Swimming in the calm waters of Kamaole Beach Park III in the morning. After noon, the winds and waves pick up, which make it great for boogie boarding. You can go to the beach and walk across the street for a lunch break at the condo without ever getting into a car. Also, parking at Kamaole Beach Park III is usually crowded on the weekend when the locals also use the park, so you can still access the beach without the hassle of finding a parking space. The on-site pool is a fresh water swimming alternative, and the hot tub is a great way to end the day.

We've found that the BBQ facilities are a great way to cook for our vacations. We've BBQ'd fresh island fish (which we caught on a deep dea fishing trip earlier in the day), steaks seasoned with a Hawaiian salt mixture, or teriyaki chicken. And there's also tables in the BBQ areas, which we've used when we feel like eating outdoors. It's great to have the option to BBQ, cook some meals in the kitchen, and go out to eat when you feel like it.(You can save some money on meals or splurge if you'd like.)

Because it's an end unit, there's an extra window that brings in extra light and breezes into the living area. And it gives you a feeling of openness because there's only another condo on one side of you. You can see the mountain (Haleakala) when looking back from the side of the lanai.
