The cabin is hidden away in an old ravine of Cooper Mountain in Beaverton, Oregon. It offers stunning views of an older-growth forest and a 5-minute drive to Cooper Mountain Nature Preserve hiking trails & playground. Nearby, you'll find great coffee shops, grocery stores, and dining options—we’ve included some of our favorites in the guidebook.
Beaverton is a vibrant and safe city with excellent restaurants, shopping, nearby farms, and so close to the amazing local wine country in the rich Willamette Valley. The cabin is a perfect home base for PNW adventures, whether you're heading to the Coast for an Ocean adventure or or up to Mt. Hood for ski season or hiking! This is an unforgettable stay.

Cooper Mountain Cabin is your ideal autumn escape! A secret forest inside a bustling city, where peaceful nature and modern comfort meet. Set on 15 private acres of native Oregon woodland, this renovated cabin feels very secluded yet minutes from Beaverton and Portland. Perfect for multi-generation families, friends’ trips, or special celebrations, it’s designed for connection and calm.
Fall here is magical: vibrant leaves linger into November, mist drifts through the trees each morning, and the forest glows in soft, moody light. Evenings invite you to unwind indoors, pour a glass of local wine, play games by the fireplace, or settle in for a cozy movie night with our complimentary flavored popcorn bar and curated PNW film library, featuring favorites like The Goonies, Free Willy, Twilight, and Gravity Falls.
Inside, high ceilings and a modern-rustic vibe create a homey, welcoming feel. The fully stocked kitchen has granite counters, stainless appliances, and thoughtful extras like snacks, coffee and tea plus everything you need for a comfortable, restorative stay.
You will need a vehicle to find our place and explore the surrounding areas. Since we are tucked into a private forest it's a little tricky to find, but we'll send very detailed instructions when you book with us.
Don't be nervous about the gravel road entrance it looks more daunting than it actually is.
Uber & Lyft are able to pick up and drop off at the cabin, but sometimes need some additional information from the guest since it is on a Private road.
We can also recommend an excellent Shuttle service that we use and are very familiar with the cabin's location and pickup/drop offs from PDX.
Welcome to Cooper Mountain Cabin, Beaverton Oregon!

--WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU PAY. Perfect for large groups (6 beds, 3 baths).
* Arriving early or leaving late? Ask about our half-day add-on fee (10AM check-in or 4PM check-out) -$150.
* Looking for dates beyond 9 months? Send a message and we can open them for your booking!
* Early Check-in Fee $50 (After 12PM).

* Worry-Free Stays: We include up to $100 in coverage for accidental damage during your stay (like a broken dish or stained towel), so you can relax without fear of surprise charges. This is built into your reservation at no extra cost.
Please Note:
Our cabin often books 30–60 days in advance, so it can be difficult to rebook dates on short notice. For that reason, Airbnb has us follow the SUPER STRICT 30 policy. This means you’ll receive a 50% REFUND if you cancel 30 or more days before arrival, and NO REFUND if you cancel within 30 days of check-in. We recommend confirming travel plans before booking or PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE to protect your trip. If a cancellation does occur and we are able to rebook the same dates at equal or greater value, we’ll always do our best to provide a partial refund minus a small rebooking fee. We know plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to work with you when possible.
Please note that this cabin is nestled in a forested area, so you may encounter insects, bees, and other critters, particularly around the fruit trees. We have regular pest control treatments every two months, but this doesn’t guarantee that you won’t spot any pests during your stay, *especially ants or box elder bugs, which can be persistent in Spring and Summer.
Wildlife? Definitely.
Additionally, we often see local wildlife like squirrels, birds, deer, raccoons, owls, garter snakes, and occasionally coyotes. While we’ve never had any concerning encounters, please keep in mind that these animals share the space and may cross your path while you're here.
