Top Pick for the Portland Area!

Came together for my 30th birthday with a group of friends and family and couldn't have asked for better accommodations! The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. They left all the essentials, had comfortable beds, plenty of seating at the large table, and a kitchen that was perfect for cooking. Street parking plus the assigned spot next door was convenient, though we were able to walk to restaurants and stores from the house. Will think of rebooking for future trips!

Amazing stay!

My friends and I, all ladies in our 40’s, booked this retreat for a girl’s weekend and it did not disappoint. The property is adorable and cozy and absolutely perfect for hanging in or going out, cooking, catching up, and spending some much-needed quality time. Highly recommend staying here!

This was such a beautiful property. Perfect for a girls weekend. Plenty of space. We spent so much time chatting around the beautiful wood table. So much info available for places to see/go. We loved walking up the block to the cute coffee shop. We would definitely stay here again.

Post Portland to Coast

We had a great stay after participating in the Portland to Coast. Very cute house, worked great for our group. Fun neighborhood with ability to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Home comfort

We reserved this house to attend some medical training at Legacy Emmanuel. It is in a great location and near so many great restaurants and establishments. All within walking distance. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean and nicely arranged. The manager was very friendly and easy to work with. As an organization that will continue to be sending more employees to training to Portland, this will be a first check to see if available.

Mississippi District

We had a great time! Seven adults, and we have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the property along with the outside patio. The Mississippi district was just down the road and offered tons of food and drink options all of which were very tasty! William Street was not too far away, and again, a multitude of places to go and have fun. Never felt at risk and people were very nice. The location of the house is perfect for waterfalls and great hiking. We really enjoyed ourselves and concluded we picked the right area to stay and enjoy Portland.

Wonderful little get away

It was really nice! The basement was well furnished! The duel showed head on either side was really great! Close to so many great little locations. Would recommend to anyone staying in Portland.

Fabulous Property

We have stayed in a lot of Vrbo's over the years and this was one of the best! Very easy to get to, clear and easy check in. The kitchen was well stocked and they even had a bottle of wine and snacks for us. The house was VERY clean. We loved having the two living rooms, which allowed the younger of our crowd to stay up as late as they wanted! It is also with in easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and shopping. We are looking forward to going back sometime this summer :)

Great Homebase

Our family had a great stay. Location was the perfect homebase for us to explore Portland and other areas of Oregon. House has everything you need, is comfortable and clean. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to other parts of the city.

Awesome spot!

The location was amazing. Walking distance to so many fun bars and restaurants. The house was updated and sparkling clean, and the host was communicative and responsive to any questions prior to and throughout our whole stay. It was perfect for our family of adult children, grand parents and Uncle.

We are a husband and wife team who love to travel, mostly on bicycles, and love designing houses. We put both of those passions together with the two businesses we own. Encircle Design and Build is our home remodeling side, where we mainly focus on kitchens, bathrooms, and whole house remodels. We started Shift Vacation Rentals with our duplex on Alberta Street. When we were getting married we looked for a house that could accommodate all of our family members and couldn't find anything. This experience sprouted our idea to create well-designed, modern, artistic lodging for people coming to Portland in our favorite neighborhoods. We adore Portland and think its, if not the, then one of the best cities in the USA. We are excited to share our home and neighborhood with you as it offers so much. In the house there is a list of recommendations of what to do and see in PDX!

The house is adorable, extremely clean, well looked after and beautifully appointed. The house is only used as a vacation rental, so you don't feel like you are staying in someone's personal space. We strive to provide a home that is perfect and hope you have an amazing stay.
