Awesome!

We knew the moment we walked in the door that this was a perfect place for our family to vacation! It was clean and had all of the amenities you would need for a beach vacation- we felt right at home! Our family definitely plans to vacation here again as it completely exceeded our expectations! Wonderful place!

Very clean, beautifully decorated, great view from the observation deck, lots of beach accessories to enjoy. We enjoyed all the local restaurants and shark tooth hunting. We would like to stay here again.

Great place to stay with plenty to do. Beach access was only a few houses down the street and the rooftop balcony was a great place to enjoy the sunsets as well

Great property

Well appointed, up to date, two bedroom, one bath, unit with all the amenities for a short or long stay. Short walk to the beach. Observation deck is great for sunset.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED

This place was just what we were looking for. The home owners were very helpful and returned our messages promptly when we had questions. The property had everything we needed with the exception of a pool. But, thats what the ocean is for. There were beach chairs, floats, umbrellas, Stand up paddle boards, kayaks, bikes. Basically anything we needed. We were kind of confused about the garbage. But someone took the cans out on pick up day so we did not have any problems. I give this place a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be going back again.

Always a great stay with the host

This was our second year staying with this host. This year we brought along two other families and rented the entire house and it was perfect. The view was amazing, everything you need is already there such as beach chairs and beach toys. The location is perfect with a very short walk or bike ride(bikes provided by host) to the beach or to restaurants or beach shop and you just feel right at home at any of their locations. If you want a laid back beach vacation this is the place for you!

Weekend Getaway

Wonderful location and accommodations for a short weekend getaway, but would also suit a full weeks stay. Super clean, a ton of beach chairs, toys, fliats, basically all your beach needs in one. Fabulous rooftop sunset views! The only downfall is the proximity to beach access could be closer and there are no minimal condiments, coffee, salt, pepper, etc. Board games would also be a plus for downtime!

Great house with great views

The house was very clean and had all the beach stuff we needed. We used the beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, beach wagon and the kayaks. We had a geat time and definitely enjoyed drinking our coffee each morning on the rooftop deck.

Great 2nd time stay!

The break I needed

Great location, fabulous accommodations, and truly the break I needed! We could not have asked for more; everything was meticulously clean and comfortable, and the proximity to Stump Pass Beach State Park as well as the pickup spot for Stumpy's Free Ride service just couldn't be beat.

Would recommend to others

Very clean property with attention to details. Beach and kayak equipment in great shape. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. A little closer to the beach may have been nice but the view from rooftop balcony makes up for the walk. We would recommend to small families or couples for a quiet getaway. Very quiet street even on the weekend and not overwhelmed with tourists.

Views and Sunsets

This was my second visit to Manasota . I choose this house as needed extra room for family. But that rooftop deck was the selling point, and it did not disappoint! The house was immaculate and outdoor shower was very convenient. All the bikes worked well and kayaks were easy to with a cart to launch at Stump Pass. We were on 2nd floor and had wonderful neighbors staying downstairs. I loved my stay as well as my family and we’ve rebooked for next April. Can’t wait!! Thanks Pete and Mary Jo for creating a special “zen” atmosphere.

Just like it Looks...awesome!

Quite a few steps up the stairs but once you get there...wonderful. Clean, well stocked and newly remodeled. First time we ever had to wash our towels upon checkout, but can understand that due to difficulty finding cleaners?

Perfect!

This was our first VRBO stay and hope we will always get this lucky. Everything was perfect from the location to the house itself. Unfortunately for us, it was the coldest weather in 20 years! But, we made the best of it by enjoying a few margaritas in some of the local establishments. Hope to return!

Great place

We chose a weekend that was too cold for the beach (late Jan) so we didn't get to use the "toys" provided or the nice deck on the top but the location is perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, choice of beaches and state park. We enjoyed shopping in Englewood, Venice, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. The house was so cute and comfortable. - we will stay again!

Great location, just updated, fun toys

Loved the bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Easy to get boats to the water. House had everything we needed- just updated and nice fixtures, bedding, dishes and cookware. Great location- only wish we had better weather and didn’t get stuck in a tornado.

Excellent!

My husband and I loved staying here for the majority of our honeymoon! We weren't able to rent a car, but the house was close enough to reataurants and activities that we were easily able to bike, walk, or grab a ride with Stumpy's. On top of that, it had everything you could need for a day at the beach! We took advantage of the beach carts, chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, and more. It was great to make use of the outdoor shower and the inside of the unit was pristine and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised that the description matched the reality exactly! Usually pictures embellish the pros, but this really was great. My only wish was that we could have checked in earlier!

Great Getaway

The location was great The weather & nearby attractions/restaurants were fantastic. The facility was clean & user oriented. The "add-ons" really added to our stay. The rooftop deck provided phenomenal views. We would definitely recommend this to another family.

After exploring Florida's Gulf coast for the perfect slice of paradise we kept coming back to the little unknown island called Manasota Key. The perfect mix of peace and quite, nature, and some fun Key West style restaurants just up the road. Anything else you need or want is just off island .

Our Resort sits on the southern most tip of the Island and is next to Stump Pass State Park. This home has awesome panoramic water views of both Lemon bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Come smell the fresh salt air!
