Perfect Family Beach Vacation

This rental was just right for our family of seven. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus as well as the extra amenities like bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, beach chairs, sand toys, and beach wagons. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets on the deck. The shell cleaning station was great. The kids loved the cornhole as well. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and relaxing. We loved it!

A Perfect Getaway

We stayed on the first floor and it was perfect. Just a short walk to the ocean side for fun waves for the kids or a two minute walk to calm water for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Accomodations were exactly as shown.

Great vacation

Beautiful property, very well maintained. House was very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of space. Easy walk to Stump Pass. So nice to have access to bikes, kayaks, etc… Great visit, would recommend!

Great Place to Stay !

There is no reason to stay anywhere else on Manasota Key. You won't find a cleaner place to stay on Manasota Key. Everything is just footsteps away. Rental agent and Owners could not be nicer.

A really great house to stay in

We loved staying at this house. We've been going to Manasota Key for 7+ years and this house was awesome. Plenty of water toys (kayaks, noodles, paddleboards, life jackets, etc) and bikes to use. The house was the perfect size and was clean and enjoyable. Don't pass up the opportunity to stay here.

Amazing!

Great location, Owner thought of everything!

2 minutes from the beach. We VRBO a lot and this owner is awesome. Coolers, beach chairs umbrellas even a buggy to carry them in! Bikes, SUPs everything you’d rent or buy was already provided. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and everything we could need to play at the beach! Shower water did not get very warm, water from the kitchen sink tasted and smelled of chlorine, and the smoke detector went off at 5am! Other than those issues we had a great stay!

Peaceful!!!

Beautiful property!! This house was stocked with everything you would need for a vacation. Just pack your suitcase and do a little grocery shopping that’s all you need!! We so enjoyed our time at The Highview and will definitely be back!! July 6-9 2023 Vicky T.

Best House and host

This was our second year staying with this host. This year we brought along two other families and rented the entire house and it was perfect. The view was amazing, everything you need is already there such as beach chairs and beach toys. The location is perfect with a very short walk or bike ride(bikes provided by host) to the beach or to restaurants or beach shop and you just feel right at home at any of their locations. If you want a laid back beach vacation this is the place for you!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

We had an amazing stay at this property! They thought of everything you would need to make your stay fun filled, beach toys, towels, kayaks, SUP’s, bikes, and beach chairs! They have it all! We even had a bike chain break; I emailed and they picked it up and had it repaired. I cannot day enough great things about this property. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent apartment!!!

Like new, super clean and well stocked. It is exactly as the pictures and description in the post. Great restaurants nearby. Before booking, the owner answered my questions super fast. And during our stay bad weather affected the island and we received a phone call from the Realty Manager to check that we were all right, which was very kind.

A Wonderful Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 6. We had an amazing time in the well furnished, comfortable, roomy home and loved the nearby beach. The outdoor shower was a definite plus to remove sand before coming inside and to accommodate the fact that after a day at the beach, everyone wants to shower at the same time. Owner was very prompt with answering any questions we had. We hope to return again soon!

Wonderful beach house for families

Great place, having easy access to the beach, and bikes and kayaks to enjoy the island, made this a great place. The place is well maintained, and very clean. Kitchen comes full loaded for cooking, but with no food or spices. So make sure you bring your salt, pepper, oil and sugar... along with whatever you want to make. Manasota is a nice island, people are very friendly and it was a great place to relax.

Fantastic vacation

We have been visiting Manasota Key for 20+ years now and have rented several different places over the years. The Highview exceeded our expectations. The property is well maintained, the unit has everything we needed, kayaks and bikes so fun, and the location is perfect. Peter was super responsive when my husband was trying to work and there was an issue with the WiFi. We will definetly be back!

Wonderful location - top notch property

We enjoyed a 3 day weekend here the week before Thanksgiving. The property was very clean and we really loved having access to bikes and kayaks. We roamed all over the island (land and sea) and seldom got into the car after arrival. The deck on the top offers super views of the gulf and the bay. It was a great place for morning coffee @ sunrise. Pure serenity. The proximity to the beach and state park on south side was perfect. I would highly recommend this unit for a small family. We would love to visit again.

After exploring Florida's Gulf coast for the perfect slice of paradise we kept coming back to the little unknown island called Manasota Key. The perfect mix of peace and quite, nature, and some fun Key West style restaurants just up the road. Anything else you need or want is just off island .

Our Resort sits on the southern most tip of the Island and is next to Stump Pass State Park. This home has awesome panoramic water views of both Lemon bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Come smell the fresh salt air!
