Thank you so much for your review. So glad you all had a "very fun experience"! When I contacted this guest mid-stay his reply was, "We've stayed at many condos throughout here and Destin. This is by far the most luxurious and clean we've been in." Those were the best words I heard all day!! My cleaners (since 2 months after we bought this condo in 2009) are wonderful!! These were our first guests after the new kitchen cabinets were installed. So glad to know they loved their stay!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I have to say I am surprised and disappointed that you gave us an 8/10 rating based on the size of the "water closets". I hate to hear that they did not work well for your family. But I am glad you liked: check-in, communication (Glad to help you with paperwork issues), location, and listing accuracy. I thought all was great since we gave you an early check-in, an extra night at a discounted rate, and when I reached out to ask how your stay was going you wrote, "Our trip is amazing". All corner units in this building have the same layout, The builder designed these units to provide as much Gulf-front view and access to the enormous balcony as possible. I am guessing the water closet size was probably the last thing on the list, especially since these are vacation rentals, not typically primary homes (but I will say my personal home water closet is the same size as the one in this unit's primary bathroom;). Glad you loved our new and very large primary shower and your time in Gulf Shores. :)

Great condo! Just as shown in the photos! Beautiful wrap around balcony with amazing views! The condo had just about anything you could need available in the kitchen! Huge plus for me as I cook most meals while on vacation! The master shower was excellent! I loved that there was a broom and vacuum available for use so I could keep things clean. Gail was very responsive and checked in on us to make sure we were all good. We will definitely stay again! Thank you so much!!

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We were very happy with this clean, spacious, and quiet condo! The beds were comfortable, and all amenities were complete. The views were spectacular from the large balcony. The condo itself is situated at a very convenient location. It was a great beach, and we definitely plan to return in the future.

Family vacation

Absolutely beautiful 3 bedroom/bath condo overlooking the beach. Extremely clean comfortable for whole family. Pool area for both adults and kids as well as beach, fun. Easy walking to many restaurants and ice cream shops. Perfect family vacation. Definitely will come again.

We loved our stay! Communication was excellent, listing is exactly as pictured, very clean condo. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed, beds were very comfortable and the views from the extended balcony were wonderful! Beach chairs provided (and additional items if needed) were a bonus

The best vacation!!

Everything was perfect from start to finish!!! Gail and Robert have covered every single detail to make vacation exactly what it should be - relaxing and worry free. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and the beach (steps away) was wonderful. After trying times for our family, we will never forget the memories we made on this vacation!!

Great property and location

We had a great stay. Great property and great location in Gulf Shores. Definitely planning to return. Good communications with owner added to overall great experience.

Family Fall Break

We had an incredible time and would certainly stay again. 2 adults and 6 children, with plenty of space. We always prioritize views wherever we stay, and with the massive wraparound balcony, this condo did not disappoint!

We are a family of four from Atlanta, Georgia (5 1/2 hour drive from Gulf Shores). We have been in the rental business for over twenty years. My husband and I are in the travel industry, and we have been to many resorts world-wide. When we found The Lighthouse and this unit in particular, we knew we had found the perfect family vacation destination.

Location, location, location! The Lighthouse is located in the heart of Gulf Shores. When we discovered we could walk to or take a short drive to all this beach community had to offer, we knew we had found the right place.

The most unique benefits of staying in our condo are: it's the largest floor-plan in the building (besides our 4/4 penthouse), the 586 sq. ft. balcony has sunrise and sunset views throughout the seasons, 2 of the 3 bedrooms are gulf-front and have direct balcony access (this is highly unusual for a gulf-front property).
