Simply Paradise

Michael is an amazing host! He accommodated all of our needs from helping us to locate a local chef for a special dinner to allowing us to check out late when members of our party became ill. Incidentally he checked in several times to make sure that all was well with us and the property. His home is simply all that you could wish for.....luxury with a homey comfortable feel! The views are simply breathtaking from the deck and surrounding area and ...down by the river. You will never want to leave!! Many thanks Michael, our family will return to share your bit of paradise!

Great Property, Great Host

If more than five stars were possible, both property and host would get them. It was a joy working with Michael before, during, and after our rental Very responsive and helpful. The property is jaw dropping beautiful. The rooms are large and well furnished. The rear patio is a great place to relax and listen to the river flow by. Huge kitchen, well stocked. Very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. Do yourself a favor and rent this property for family or group. Well worth it.

Excellent

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. Michael is an outstanding host and communicates well and quickly answered any questions we had. The house is beautiful and is located on the canyon edge overlooking the Rio Brazos. It has direct access to the river, which is great for fishing or just hanging out and enjoying the surroundings.

Family Trip

We have been going to Chama for decades. When we sold our place we still wanted to be able to visit. We stayed at Michael's place which was just up the road from my MIL's. To say it was amazing would be an understatement!!! We had 8 adults and 1 child and we had plenty of room. Michael was easy to communicate with and access was simple. The view was spectacular from all sides of the deck and the covered patio was a great place for all of us to hang out in the evenings! We cooked every night with ease due to the huge kitchen. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for allowing us to use your place!

Amazing place to stay

Michael was very responsive and communication was great. Great host. The cabin is amazing. It was perfect for a group of 8 to get away for board games, short hikes/walks around the beautiful area and to just relax. The main reason we came up was for Friendsgiving, and the kitchen has the perfect set up and space for cooking. Plenty of lounging/gathering areas, cozy fireplace, with amazing path that leads directly to another lounge right next to the river. We would definitely come here again.

The property and house were clean and well-maintained and access to the river was great. Michael provided plenty of advance communication. Beautiful location and the fishing on the Rio Brazos was excellent. We will definitely be planning a return trip in the future.

The VIEW😍

This house was perfect for our family! Well stocked, spacious, great communication with owner! However, the most spectacular part about this house is the view, pair the view of the cliffs with the sound of the river flowing over the rocks and you cant go wrong staying here!! Even though it is a bit of a drive to get to some places it is centrally located to many. We like to hike near Taos, Santa Fe, Pagosa Springs and The Ghost Ranch so for us it is a perfect location. We will hopefully be back again next September!!

Helpful property owners

This house was relaxing and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. The property was private, well kept, and secure. The owners were very helpful with any questions and always available during our stay. We hope to come back to this house for another fun and relaxing weekend.

Serene getaway

Ideal mountain cabin in some of the most majestic parts of NM. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for large gatherings and cooking. Could not have asked for a more friendly and gracious host!

Delightful Retreat

Our family had a wonderful time spending our snowy Christmas together at this Los Ojos cabin. It has a perfect combination of amenities plus rustic mountain living. We would most definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it for others!

Great family get together location

My family had a fantastic Thanksgiving week stay at this beautiful home. Everyone was very comfortable in this home and throughly enjoyed the house and scenic location. It was truly a great place for us to kick back and relax in comfort in the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is amazing and a joy to work in. It easily accommodated several of us “chefs” all working in unison and never bumping into or stepping on each other. It was a stay we will all fondly remember forever. The owner was very friendly and responsive. It is evident this is a home he loves and takes great pride in sharing. Would love to return in the future

Gorgeous home with spectacular views! Great amenities for a quiet getaway or for group entertaining. Anytime we are in the area, this is where we will stay.
