Two Luxury Homes, One Unforgettable Experience

Your rental includes both the 4-bedroom Lodge and 2-bedroom Guest House. Each home features its own hot tub, full kitchen, outdoor dining, and covered deck with mountain views of Yellowstone National Park.

The Lodge sleeps 8 guests with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, dining for 12, a dual-sided wood fireplace, a game room, and a 7-person hot tub.

The Guest House sleeps 8 guests with 2 bedrooms, a loft, 2 bathrooms, a wood stove, a game room, and a 6-person hot tub.

Both homes feature new Purple mattresses, fully stocked modern kitchens with espresso machines, 65-inch TVs with Netflix, Hulu+, Disney+, and Prime Video, fast WiFi, keyless entry, and on-demand hot water. We provide all linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies, bear spray, trail maps, backpacks, coolers, and firewood.

The property borders Gallatin National Forest with hiking and biking trails accessible from your back door. Park your RV or trailer easily along the private 1,300-foot gated driveway. A seasonal creek runs through the property with a campfire ring for evening gatherings.

Year-Round Activities

Summer: Explore Yellowstone, fly fish Blue Ribbon rivers, hike from the property, horseback riding, rodeo, zipline adventures, Grizzly Wolf Discovery Center.

Winter: Snowmobile from the property on groomed trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, snow coach tours into Yellowstone, Big Sky skiing. Driveway plowing included. 4WD required.

Locally Owned and Professionally Managed

We are a Montana family who built, own, and manage Shelterwood Lodge. We live minutes away and provide 24/7 support, including snow removal, maintenance, and assistance during your stay. Between each reservation, our staff deep cleans both homes and drains, cleans and refills both hot tubs. We hold a Montana commercial accommodations license with fire safety inspections.

Construction was completed in 2021 and was designed specifically for the Yellowstone climate. Both homes have superior insulation, central heat, and stay naturally cool in summer without air conditioning, thanks to the north-facing location and shaded porches.
