It's time to relax at this delightful dog-friendly cottage just across the street from the wonderful Gulf of Mexico. There's plenty of room to get comfy in the living area or settle in for a meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Central air conditioning and a washer/dryer add convenience. Outside, you'll find an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water, as well as a ramp off the front balcony for stair-free, effortless access to the living area.

When you're ready for some action, you'll love a location that is close to restaurants, shops, and everything Gulf Shores has to offer!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Close to the beach, open floor plan and plenty of extra blankets etc. Fully stocked kitchen and even had a huge variety of coffee pods. We had a very good stay there and will be back

Fall getaway

Loved the ramp, so helpful getting into house. Bright and decorated very nice. Size of house was perfect. Back porch chairs were busted and not useable. Overall it was a perfect getaway.

Great stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time the beach was wonderful clean water white sand! The house was well appointed all new appliances everything very clean! I slept in the Master King it was very comfortable!

Relaxing

Great location across from Gulf. We found a place on the street behind us to walk the dogs through a park. We enjoyed Fort Morgan Beach were dogs could swim and tour the fort. Property was clean. The door needed to be wiped down. Broken chair back deck but plenty of chairs to sit in front and back outside. Very quite and enjoyable. Only thing a little annoying is the air conditioner is loud. Close to a few dog friendly restaurants so perfect for us.

Lots of space and nice appliances, slow wifi

Loved the open concept very spacious living room/kitchen. The master bedroom is very large. It's close to the beach, with beach access across the street. Had a great time staying there. Unfortunately, one member of our group needed to work and the Wi-Fi kept going out. To top it off, it was only 11 megabit when it worked. The TV in the living room is from 2006! The only streaming options were through DirecTV boxes: Netflix often did not work either due to the Internet being slow or the very slow cable box.

A very lovely home

Beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Plenty of books to read. Right across the street from the beach with access less than a block away. Loved the outdoor shower too. Very peaceful and wonderful atmosphere. CONS: pots and pans are scattered and some are a little worn. Found the regular coffee pot in the laundry room cabinet after we bought one. No outside grill. Took forever to fill up the tub, not enough water pressure. Not worth fooling with. Overall, it was a great week and I would definitely stay here again. We loved this house.

Pick a different place

We were quite dissatisfied with this place. It needed a good cleaning and dusting. Mold everywhere. Trash everywhere outside. No place to easily walk the dogs - they kept picking up prickers on their feet from the underbrush. Poor insulation- we could hear our neighbors talking outside like we were with them. Bed mattress was hard, pillow was harder. We ended up finding another location and left this place early. This place needs major updating for the price charged.

Always Awesome!

This is our second time renting this home for our stay and it won't be our last. We love it!! Vacasa is wonderful and their attention to detail is fabulous. This home is the perfect size and spotless. It is pet friendly, our dogs love it, and you would bever know a pet has stayed there. Ill say it again...spotless.Beds are super comfortable and as an added bonus they have added a beautiful new walk in shower to the master bathroom where there once was a garden tub. So now there are two showers adding incredible convenience. Location is superb on West Beach Blvd. The home is spacious and open with a beautiful deck with the Gulf of Mexico across the street. Beach access is a short walk. The only thing that would make this home better is if we owned it! We cannot wait to book again. Vacasa kept in touch to see if we needed anything or had any issues. Great booking experience. 5++++++++ stars.

The home was comfortable, open and airy. There are black scuff marks on just about every wall in every room. There were 2-5 HUGE stains in the walk-in closet on the carpet. The kitchen supplies were scant and the frying pans were were filthy. We went out and purchased lots of kitchen items from salt& pepper to pots and pans containers for leftovers. Vacasa arrived a week later with dishes, silverware glassware, hand mixer, electric can opener. The furniture was a light green leather and showed a lot of wear and dirt. THE AIR AND HEAT SOUNDEDLIKE A HURRICANE IN THE BEDROOMS. The chairs on the back deck were broken. We bought ourselves new ones. The house was decorated very cute. Very beachy. The beds were very comfortable. Once we were stocked up it as very pleasant. Close walk to the beach access. The advice I’d give to the owner would be to paint the entire interior. Replace chairs on deck with clean sturdy chairs replace sofa and chairs. If that was done I’d give it a 10/10. Had a Great vacation. A binder regardng things in the area to do rules regarding pets,trash pick up while helpful. I can’t say enough about VACASA - THEY ARE FANTASTIC! Prompt to answer. Prompt rectifying issues. Christian and Samantha brought the kitchen items. They were WONDERFUL !! They made sure we had everything we needed!!! They went above and beyond even if it wasn’t their part of their job. Was needful hardworking people

Not overly impressed

It was clean, has a few problems and bathroom is really outdated. It looks like it has a tub with a kitchen faucet on it.. It would take forever to fill the tub up.. and it leaks constantly.

Vacation stay July 22

Was a great place to stay house was clean and stocked with about everything we need. There were several things that needed attention: 1. The decking is getting worn having splinters and a lot of the nails need to be hammered down. 2. The garage has a lot of sand piled up along the edge’s would be nice to have clean. 3. Several of the lights on the steps and ramp are out. 4. Light switches need labeling especially the ones with multiple switches and some of the lights were out. 5. Garbage disposal may work but couldn’t find switch for it had one close to west window by cabinets but couldn’t figure out what it went to. 6 west window by cabinets needs some kind of darkening shad sun comes in blinding you Other than these things it was a great place.

Location!!!

We really enjoyed the location of this property. Just one street from the beach with ocean views and off the main drag, we were even able to walk to our dinner restaurant. My older huskies appreciated the ramp for easy walk up. I do also appreciate they accepted dogs of any size. However a few notes: they only provided one trash bag for our four day visit and no cleaning supplies for the property. I was a bit disappointed in that. The tub in the master bedroom isn’t working and the drain was caked in residue. It was a huge disappointment because we were really limited to one shower for four of us. My husband and I ended up using the outdoor shower. Overall a good experience.
