Great location and privacy comes with this renovated cottage. This is a single family home, Immaculately clean, and well organized. Tastefully decorated in a light pallet with natural organic accessories. Only 0.2 miles, walking distance, from Jamestown's trendy restaurants and downtown entertainment. Adjacent to 33 acres of undeveloped land is nature's serenity, often reserved for vacations.
Rest well on the luxury hybrid mattress, egyptian cotton sheets, and down bedding. High speed Wi-Fi, wireless chargers, and much more.

The space
Tastefully decorated in a light pallet with natural tones to soothe the senses. Organized clean spaces support your well being. The Jamestown Cottage is designed with the intention to promote a quick transition from traveling to settled in.

Less than 0.3 miles to all of the essentials: grocery store, restaurants, entertainment, shopping, parks, trails, gyms, salons, post office, and more. This community offers an 18 hole regulation golf course. Approximately 0.5 mile from a year-round lake and marina with water sports, fishing, and kayak/canoe rentals. Take advantage of the brick paved sidewalks throughout the community with jogging and bike paths.

Other things to note
Kindly be cautious with the fire pit and maintain a small flame. There is a rake and bucket under the back steps. Keep the bucket of water available to douse the embers before leaving the fire. The firepit is located on a cleared, gravel area and borders 33 acres of woodland.

Just as listed!

Came to visit nearby relatives and was very pleased to see that everything was exactly as listed. The home was very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and prompt with communication. Check in and departure were extremely easy. My husband and had the master bedroom and 7yo took the bedroom with twin bed. Plenty of extra bedding that was clean and comfortable. Smart tv’s with several apps. The backyard was a relaxing, peaceful and quiet oasis, where we enjoyed our morning coffee. There are RR tracks down the street, but the horn and wheels chiming were in a distant. When inside, we had to point out to the 7yo , when train came through. When outside, we found them to be relaxing and a reminder of America, carrying much needed staples across the country. It added charm to the location of staying in Jamestown. It was exactly what we expected and we’ll be staying again on our next visit.

Charming and Clean

First time on Vrbo and was nervous not knowing what to expect. I’m happy to say that it was a great experience!First (and most importantly) of all, the house was CLEAN. The cottage was decorated very nice, everything needed was supplied, check in and out was simple, quiet neighbors, and all the comforts of home.We stayed for an HPU graduation and I only wish I had found this house sooner! It was a 10-12 minute easy drive to the university and much nicer than staying in a hotel.

Charming Cottage

Long weekend visit to explore the area for future move. Cottage was clean and comfy. We didn’t have time to enjoy the backyard but would have loved to relax and bird watch in the perfect spot by the little pond. Kitchen stocked with all the necessities to spice up your meal. Kelli was quick to respond and we would highly recommend her cottage.

Great renovated cottage

The cottage is just as advertised. Not large but well done when refurbished. Well supplied with coffee pods and quality linens, cooking supplies (though we didn’t cook). The fire pit/water garden in the back was nice. This was a great hotel alternative for us and will be our go to for future visits to High Point University. Kelly communicated well and made sure tree damage from a recent storm was taken care of prior to our arrival. The cottage sits off a main road close to a busy railroad and a restaurant with outdoor music at night, however inside the house none of those sounds were an issue. We will definitely be back!

Comfy Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this perfectly appointed cottage. The beds were very comfortable and although the nearby trains might be an issue for some we didn’t find it a problem. The cottage is located close to a few very good restaurants and a beautiful park. We were in town for a family function and plan to stay again in November.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep

The house was clean and sized for 2 adults. The problem was that it was 1 house away from the railroad tracks and we didn't get hardly any sleep due to the trains and the noise of them. We would like a refund of our money as this was not mentioned in the ad. Other than not getting any sleep the house was ok.
